I am the CTO of a biotech startup called Kognitic. We focus on clinical trial intelligence and pipeline strategy for large pharmaceutical companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Natsoft Corporation?
We engaged Natsoft Corporation to provide development support for our subscription-based platform that our customers use to access the analysis we provide.
What was the scope of their involvement?
As our company has grown, we’ve needed more developers to help build our SaaS product. The product is web-based, but it is mobile responsive. Natsoft Corporation dedicates three full-stack developers to our project—meaning they are responsible for frontend tasks using Angular, jQuery, and Bootstrap as well as backend work involving Java, MySQL, and machine-learning technology.

We work with one project manager and three full-time developers.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a company that builds software solutions, mainly in the blockchain area. We’ve started venturing into AI and machine learning as well.
What challenge were you trying to address with Natsoft?
We wanted an end-to-end application built on blockchain, using smart contracts. We were looking to build a desktop client and the entire backend infrastructure, so we needed some help in these areas.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us with the smart contracts portion as well as the initial desktop client development. The work used the Solidity programming language within the Ethereum technology. Our platform also uses HTML, CSS, and AngularJS. The app is mobile responsive.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a project manager from their team, who was our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Natsoft?
I came across them while visiting Singapore and started working with them after identifying that they had expertise in the smart contracts area, both in the Ethereum and Hyperledger blockchain technologies.

We’ve spent more than $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in 2017, and most of the work was done March–November 2018. Our collaboration is ongoing in a reduced capacity.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve delivered the software, and we’re working internally on making some changes and deploying it. We audited the code to check for any loopholes, but we didn’t identify any.
How did Natsoft perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve had no issues at all in this respect. We mainly communicated via email, Skype, and Slack.

As a client partner executive at an IT company, I’m responsible for accounts we deliver services to. I handle client relationship, profit, and the entire end-to-end scope of services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Natsoft Corporation?
We needed additional resources for specific areas of our business. The current client I support is an account within our outsourcing area. These usually are multi-year contracts and relationships. We’re providing them with a broad set of IT services, mainly mid-range server, mainframe, and backup and storage.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Natsoft Corporation has been the most helpful for our high level of need in the systems, applications, and products (SAP) area. They provided several resources to aid our work when we were having trouble finding additional ones. These teammates contribute thought leadership and architect lead resources who offer a lot of useful input on best practice.
The team also provides ongoing support to help us meet our client’s needs and keep their IT running. They both help us from a project completion perspective and support the SAP environment to prevent outages.
As an integral part of our team, Natsoft Corporation does critical work to assist us in many niche areas. Their Linux and storage expertise are hard to find, particularly for network application storage (NAS). Rather than just applying a skill and leaving, their teammates take the approach of truly partnering with us. They meet with my client regularly and treat them the same as their own ones. In many ways, they perform at the level we’d expect from an in-house employee.

At the peak, we probably worked with more than 40 people from their side. At a minimum, the team included 25 resources. The majority of their skills were in the SAP area. Our client contract included service level agreement (SLA)-type commitments. Natsoft Corporation supported the work we needed to fulfill them. Instead of using specific measurements, we assessed their resources’ performance based on the ability to meet our commitments to the client.
We have a great relationship with Natsoft Corporation. They’ve done such high-quality work that we expanded our engagement. We connected them with another one of our customers who needed SAP services. They’ve helped our company significantly.
Our client was fully satisfied with the SAP work Natsoft Corporation contributed. They have continued to express positive feedback.
