Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a marketing firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with NAI Capital?
We needed to find a new office space.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I had just started the company, and I didn’t know where to begin. NAI Capital consulted with me and provided a roadmap on how to find an office space. They spent several weeks helping me navigate the real estate market. We met several times and went on a few tours. We saw almost 10 buildings in total.
I ended up not going with any of the buildings that we looked at because they were a bit out of my range as a new business. However, they were still very helpful, even after the fact.
What is the team composition?
Dennis was my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with NAI Capital?
They were a previous client of mine, so I had contact with them and was aware of their business.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July 2017 until December of that year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Even though I didn’t end up doing business with them, they were awesome. I’m in an executive suite that they recommended to me. They didn’t make a commission off of me, but they were still so helpful.
How did NAI Capital perform from a project management standpoint?
They were attentive, goal-oriented, and communicative. They could’ve stopped working with me after they realized that they didn’t have the right office spaces for me, but they were focused on seeing me succeed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication and willingness to educate me on the industry were impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. Although they represent higher-end listings that were out of my price range, they were extremely valuable to me.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s helpful to have one dedicated point of contact that you can build a relationship with.
Although the client ended up not selecting a building that NAI Capital represented, the service NAI Capital provided was invaluable. They provided great information and insight. It was clear they were invested in the client’s success.
