We tasked the agency with creating a prototype for a multifaceted, multistakeholder digital system. Understanding that this prototype was a testbed for innovative ideas rather than an immediate implementation, the agency ventured beyond conventional solutions, infusing creativity and daring attitude into their design. 

At the end of our collaboration with Motka they delivered the platform prototype, meeting our precise expectations. The final product was a sophisticated two-wing system, wonderfully designed to respond to the needs of two distinct yet connected audiences, the B2C one (end-consumers) and B2B one (professional vendors).

Although we grew confident in their process with time, such a feature could enhance transparency and increase clients' 'peace of mind', especially in early stages.

I'm CEO at GlobalLab. We are an online educational platform that helps schools, teachers, students and their parents to create collaborative research projects.

We hired Motka to prototype new functionality and optimize current pathways of the user interface of our platform, as well as to create a new look & feel for our brand. Current design was ten years old and seemed outdated. We also needed a detailed UI-Kit to manage development of the interface.

How did you select this vendor?

We worked with Motka.Design earlier. They were the ones who designed our product UI 10 years ago. We were quite satisfied with the result they had provided at that time, and plus they were already familiar with the insights of our platform. So I decided to mail them. They promptly responded and quickly took on the project.

The main challenge was to rework the confusing UX of the Project Wizard and redesign around 100 pages of UI. The guys did a great job with both tasks and offered many new great ideas. Also we asked Motka to help us with the logo and marketing materials (presentation, business card, stickers etc.)

The working process was organized efficiently - we had regular productive meetings and the deliverables were generally on time. Phil and Maria were rather flexible and creative in responding to all the changes we made as we went along the scope.

We had Phil as art director, Maria as chief UX/UI designer, Elena as product manager. There were other members of the Motka. Design team who were working on the project, but we didn't communicate with them directly.

Yes, we have already launched MVP with a new UI in Spanish, and English languages and we continue implementing new design features, which require some backend work. https://globallab.online/en

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication was clear, very well organized, and we were aware of what's going on with the project and what to expect next. We have provided the initial scope requirements and were clarifying them along the way through the voice calls. Motka designers were delivering UI templates in Figma and we quickly put them in production.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of performance. For the last 10 years their expertise in UX/UI has become solid - they understood our task precisely and almost didn't do anything superfluous. I really appreciate our collaboration with Motka, and we continue to work with them to support the GlobalLab design wise.

The main goal was to design UX/UI for a voting platform. Also, we asked Motka to help us with the logo and all promotion and information materials for investors such as pitch deck, flyers and billboards. After all, we got our presentation materials in time and they were awesome. We got quite confident during our pitches.
