Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CTO at Avysh, a startup product company. The product helps B2B businesses streamline and bring in a digitization intervention in their work.
What challenge or opportunity were you trying to address with Moolya Testing?
As a startup, we had some challenges that other big companies could come across more easily. A quality output as requested by customers was vital for us, so we needed someone to provide testing services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Moolya Testing has worked with us on a pilot for one month. We’ve offloaded all of our QA responsibilities to them. With our team, Moolya Testing has brought in key simple and adaptable processes to change how our product requirements are considered and how that gets transferred to the development team.
They’ve brought out various test suites, including the proper technology to test everything we need. Finally, they’ve released it.
What is the team composition?
We have two sets of people working with us. One is an extended leadership who’s available on a demand basis. The other includes a technology expert, a functionality expert, a process expert, and managers. Additionally, they’ve situated a senior QA specialist with two budding QA engineers in our office full-time.
How did you come to work with Moolya Testing?
I met Moolya Testing’s leadership in a forum in San Francisco, California. We exchanged some notes and kept in touch. They published many collaterals on their social networks, so I was updated on all the new things they brought. Ultimately, when we needed a service provider, they were a perfect choice.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent between $10,000–$25,000.
What is the status of the engagement?
Our partnership started in April 2022, and it’s still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have a health report and classify our product as modules and features. Every month, we track the health report of every module and feature to see if it’s going up or down, including functional interventions and technological changes. After Moolya Testing came in, all of our features and modules improved positively. We rate features 5–7 as extremely good and 0–3 as needing improvement. Currently, most of our features and modules are at five.
Moreover, we were convinced that Moolya Testing was the answer to all our problems within a week and a half. Our engagement has given us many good results. We’ve turned around our output time from three months to three weeks.
How did Moolya perform from a project management standpoint?
Their senior QA engineer is well-trained and adapted to manage daily activities and their performance. They have a timetable and calendars with activities, events, and tasks that need to be completed. Moolya Testing also keenly updates the other extended leadership on the project’s progress.
They use Coda for communication and project management, and we use ClickUp internally. The tools were easy to integrate, so we don’t have any data redundancy.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their experience in the startup ecosystem has made a lot of difference. Moolya Testing knows the dos and don’ts, so they’ve been very helpful. Moreover, they’ve placed the ideal people to bring the subject matter expertise, technology, and alignment to our business practices.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’d be nice if they were located near our office, but their service is excellent.
Any advice for potential customers?
Consider maximizing their expertise for the best results; they have vast experience working on all verticals.
Moolya Testing’s efforts have contributed positively to the product’s growth. Most of the features and modules rank well in the client’s internal health reports. The team’s experience has made a big difference. They manage daily activities and communicate effectively using Coda and ClickUp.
