Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing and user acquisition manager at WebGames. We’re currently focusing on mobile game development by creating apps across Android and iOS platforms.
What challenge were you trying to address with MoBupps?
We brought on MoBupps to run user acquisition campaigns for our mobile applications with the goal of increasing the number of engaged users.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MoBupps distributes our video and banner advertising campaigns across their network of app developers and external media sources. They only distribute ads to the most relevant audiences, aiming to engage users with our advertisements and eventually our solutions.
What is the team composition?
Initially, we were involved with 4–5 people, including the sales and technical support team. We occasionally speak with the leadership team to discuss strategy, and we communicate daily with an account manager.
How did you come to work with MoBupps?
We met at a conference in Russia. Afterward, they set up a meeting with us and gave a presentation. We decided to hire them after they delivered satisfactory results with a test budget.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began the partnership in March 2017, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We track the success of their work by using a formula that calculates the return on investment for our advertising budget. We also measure the percentage of app users that make a purchase. MoBupps has been successful so far.
How did MoBupps perform from a project management standpoint?
Their workflow is well-structured, with a team member assigned to each required skillset.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MoBupps has a personable, service-oriented team. Their connections with thousands of publishers and app developers have added value to our campaigns. Also, their in-house development produces unique technology which makes their processes more efficient.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could always improve on their user acquisition targets. Also, they could enhance their ability to scale their resources and meet larger budgets.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Future clients should be transparent about all information during the integration process. MoBupps needs to input all the data into their server so they can optimize the campaign in real time. Throughout the process, there should be constant communication between the vendor and the client. Using continuous feedback, MoBupps can enhance the campaign as much as possible.
The campaigns have produced a return on investment. MoBupps has a communicative workflow, continuously using feedback to improve their work. Their internal processes are efficient and well-organized.
