We are a business consulting agency based in Berlin, Germany and as we started our business in July 2017, we needed some time to gather a team of professionals with a good background & knowledge of Business consulting really is. The second step was to create a website that looks like 2019 and inspires trust and confidence

We needed an agency that can explain and describe in detail each web development and web design specifications, additional to executing the job in time. We are happy that Marcel & the team are for sure our best choice.

What were your goals for this project?

The task was to create a corporate website from scratch. We needed a futuristic, solid design, with our corporate colors - black & white (as business colors these are the best suitable for our branch). Another task was to find what CMS is best for our website, and we were excited about the specter of CMS Mobiteam is specialized in. We also had to integrate connection features like messenger, feedback page, and give our clients the chance to book and schedule a time for consulting.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched around a month for a digital agency that will satisfy our needs, and after 10 calls with other agencies, we selected Mobiteam as being the best solution. They totally understand us, and ironically they provided us a top-level of business consulting

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

After we had the business consulting stage with Marcel & the team, we identified how everything will work and look. It was decided that additional to black & white colors, we could use some gradient design elements in order to highlight our contact form buttons. Also, we opted for WordPress CMS as it has an easy to handle dashboard and the website can be managed easier than with other CMS options. The booking option is what the team is still working on, as we always update them with new tasks

What was the team composition?

As Marcel (CEO) managed the business consulting part, step by step we had calls that involved their team of designers that Victor (Head of UI/UX) was leading, and as well we had both separate and common calls with Mircea (CTO) and his web developing team. Overall from our side, we had 4 people always in touch with Mobiteam, that provided 8 people (3 designers, 4 developers & CEO)

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We understood from the very beginning that this was a long-term project, especially after we always came with more and more updates and added multiple features to be done. The team integrated all features and developed and design a website we are proud of. At this moment they work on the final updates, and the website should be launched soon

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We liked it a lot that the entire team was fully engaged in the process and dedicated to the project at 100%. We used slack for communications, but we had calls and meetings as well. There was no problem at all when we had questions & recommendations, they were receptive and always listened to our requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We always talk inside our team that we were lucky to work with Mobiteam. They do a great job in all directions: communications, development, design, consulting. We plan to hire them for the marketing strategy development as well, and we are confident that they will do an amazing job there, with above the results of our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For the quality of their services, it would be totally normal to raise the price range of the services they provide. As a client, we are more than happy with what we have.

I am the founder and CEO of a mobile fitness app called Bright Spike.

We hired Mobiteam for full web and mobile development of a health and fitness app. 

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted the app to make workout routines more accessible for busy people.

How did you select this vendor?

As a lean startup, we were looking for a company that would exceed our expectations but not our budget. We interviewed several companies before a former business partner recommended Mobiteam. They seemed like a perfect fit, so we hired them.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

My partner and I started this project without a clear idea of how we wanted everything built, but we were very particular about how we wanted everything to look. Mobiteam worked with us from start to finish, leading both the frontend design and backend development based off of what were essentially a few drawings. The project shifted constantly due to our lack of initial planning, but they never became frustrated or let the platform suffer.

The transition so far has been seamless. The app itself boasts 2,200 workouts with routines customized for both men and women. Users can filter and choose exercises based on variables such as their time available, current body weight, and overall health goals.

Built as the landing page for the app, the website details the app’s features, lists our business partners, and links to our social media pages. Additional ongoing developments include a new logo design, code updates, and a functionality that allows users to share personalized workouts. Mobiteam is currently working to integrate the app with the Apple Watch and implement e-commerce capabilities for the website.

We interact with a total of six people: the CEO, the CTO, a senior sales engineer, two developers, and one designer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our company is still in the startup phase, so I cannot offer defined metrics. However, since Mobiteam successfully transformed our idea into a usable platform, we have been able to collect valuable information to drive future improvements. The launch produced a range of feedback and constructive criticism on the app’s performance that allowed us to make notable changes in the incredible admin panel as well as major updates. This alone has increased downloads significantly. 

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We communicate via phone, email, and video conferencing. Our communication and collaboration have continued to improve, with their executive stakeholders are attached to every email thread.

Although there is a four-hour time difference between our companies, they have been flexible with scheduling meetings and working late hours. They have also done their best to accommodate our budgetary needs, since the initial build took longer than expected. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Despite being cheaper than other developers, they produce excellent work because they are willing to understand our goals. They offer the best service possible, answering my questions day or night with a solid command of the current task.

I don't think there is anything they need to improve.

We're a B2B and B2C marketing agency. My role is to manage large projects.

Initially, we needed a company to build a fairly complicated website for one of our clients. Later, we reached out to them again to help us with coding for a few updates.

What were your goals for this project?

To achieve a descriptive and clear product with multiple functionalities included.

How did you select this vendor?

They developed a website for one of our larger clients. That site featured 3D rendering as well as areas on which people can click to see specific imagery, text, and overlays. That impressed us, so we engaged them too.

I took over the project halfway through the development. Their business consultant put me in touch with the development team and they walked me through all the changes to the code that were needed.

After that, we handled the QA and made sure the code was correct. When we need any code updates, we still reach out to them as they're most familiar with the website.

We had one main point of contact, so I didn't deal directly with different team members.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They delivered everything on time and within the budget. Our client was highly satisfied with the development work and impressed with the seamless transition between their QA team and Mobiteam.

They're great communicators. For example, they let me know immediately if our clients’ requests cannot be implemented within the required timeframe. The project was very collaborative, so we had a lot of back-and-forth interaction, which worked very well.

They're very friendly and responsive. Overall, they know how to identify a problem and take action.

I am the founder and CEO of Wroomr.com, an international platform for car aficionados.

We began this development project with another company, but, after a 50% upfront payment, we still had no design mockup or ideas on functionality. We hired Mobiteam to assume responsibility for the platform’s design and build. 

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was for Mobiteam to build exactly what we wanted in a reasonable amount of time, allowing us to develop the platform for new markets and connect fans from around the globe.

We found them on Clutch. Their portfolio looked professional, featuring projects from a wide range of industries and niches. We reached out to them and they sent us their company overview and presentation as well as more details on the technologies and methodologies they use. We liked what we saw, and they seemed knowledgeable in this online industry. 

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

After conducting an initial audit, Mobiteam decided to build the design and all of the pages from scratch. In the first iteration, we provided feedback on three variations of the home page, ultimately selecting one. They then prepared the final mockup, which we approved, and commenced the development process. Because of our technical inexperience, we remained fairly hands off, relying on their team and project manager. They did, however, provide documentation explaining the website’s operation and detailing guidance for customizing, adapting, or implementing changes as necessary. They now perform ongoing maintenance both monthly and on demand. 

What was the team composition?

Our product manager and myself worked with one designer, one frontened developer, one backend developer, and one project manager from Mobiteam.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We got exactly what we wanted in less then two and a half months. Mobiteam completed the design in 15 days and the development in another 25, meeting all specifications for APIs, responsiveness, and dashboard functionalities. Launched in July 2018 as an alpha version, the website is now in beta with users in 12 countries.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was organized and seamless with fast, accessible, and direct communication via Asana, Slack, email, and Google Hangouts. We used WhatsApp for urgent issues and conducted daily five-minute sprints. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Working with them was a pleasant change from the disaster we had with the previous company. Mobiteam offered an impressive and affordable quality to price ratio, delivering much more than we paid for. They seem eager to cooperate in the future, present a genuinely professional approach, and are well-versed in their field. With eight years of experience in web development and design, they know how to communicate with clients and deliver results.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

I found no areas of improvement. We received the results we had hoped for and have been very happy with the collaboration.

We engaged Mobiteam to help us develop and maintain our training and support platform, taking our knowledge base from another plugin and integrating it into a WordPress theme.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mobiteam reviewed our project brief and specifications, making additional recommendations on the architecture as needed. They then assigned a team to finish the customization process of the WordPress site, integrating the plugins we needed that allow us to manage access to content based on user registrations. Beyond the plugin itself, Mobiteam managed all aspects of development aside from design, and continues to provide ongoing maintenance.

I've been very satisfied with the work Mobiteam has done thus far; the quality of their work matches our specifications exactly. They've consistently ensured that any bugs are all fixed before any elements of the platform go live.

They're very clear in communications. We utilize their custom communications platform, which has proven to be very efficient.

We are selling to 15 countries today and have consistent growth for both traffic and sales. Our conversions and click-through rate jumped 14 % in the first month. The team was professional, flexible, and honest. They designed an intuitive website and dashboard.

Although I only had half the needed documentation at the start, the team had great vision and helped me define the use cases. I only interacted with the product manager, who gave me invaluable advice about which features to include. He understood how to build an e-commerce site targeted for women. The one-on-one interaction was efficient and frank. We communicated via Slack and email.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were not only experienced web developers, but the team also had a sense of responsibility and flexibility. In addition, their pricing was far and even lower than other companies we considered.

After seven weeks, we didn’t notice anything unsatisfactory. We enjoyed the partnership.

Mobiteam created the full e-commerce site, starting with the logo design. They provided three options and we chose the one we liked best. Then, the team drafted full-design mockups for the platform that corresponded with the logo to create a cohesive brand.

With the designs in mind, Mobiteam developed the frontend and backend of the platform with an intuitive operative flow. They connected the site to a large database of items that we sell, then integrated features to support payment, shipping, membership, and customer services processes. The team was completely in charge of the technical maintenance elements.

We worked with a team of five that consisted of a part-time project manager, designers, and developers. This team handled the technical aspects of the project as well as the financial side.

In the six months following the website’s launch, we reached the top of our niche market within our country. Each month, for eight months, we experienced a growth of about 7% in our online sales. Mobiteam’s development strategies allow for easy ongoing maintenance of the platform, so that’s improved our internal productivity. I’m completely satisfied with every aspect of this collaboration.

Mobiteam was professional, yet approachable. It was a very seamless process. The team quickly developed an understanding of our needs and produced the appropriate solutions. They worked at a fast pace, but maintained quality in their deliverables.
