I work for MAS Holdings, an apparel company that handles many brands like Nike, Lululemon, and GAP. I’ve been part of the marketing team for Spryng, one of our top brands, for a year and a half.

Spryng is a brand focused on the sports competition health and recovery space. We have two products: Spryng version one, which was launched around three and a half years ago, and Spryng version two, which was launched earlier in 2023.

Spryng is the official recovery partner of USA Triathlon. Additionally, the Olympic medalist Gabby Thomas is our brand ambassador.

What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?

We hired MOBIKASA to revamp our website. Our goal was to update our website’s look and feel and optimize our conversion rate.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MOBIKASA is helping us revamp our website. Initially, we provided them with our brand guidelines and a few of the assets we already had, which included images, videos, and articles.

Then, MOBIKASA started the process by redesigning the UI based on the user journeys and needs. They also took the content we provided and helped us organize it in a structured way. From there, they started with the website development process.

We’ve almost finished the project with MOBIKASA; there are still a few pages they need to complete. As for the technology stack, MOBIKASA has built our website on Shopify, using a few of the Shopify add-ons.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact from MOBIKASA is a project manager. Additionally, I initially had contact with a sales manager, who then directed me to a different project manager. I’ve also interacted briefly with a UI lead and two developers.

We’ve spent around $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed our agreement around October 2022, and the actual work started around November 2022. Our engagement is ongoing, but the majority of the work is already done.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to MOBIKASA, the look and feel of our website has drastically improved. However, we’re still measuring the impact of this revamp on our conversions and overall sales.

How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve experienced no delays on the project, and MOBIKASA has delivered everything on budget as well. The team has been very responsive and offered timely communication. Whenever we have a problem, they’re always a call away, so we have no complaints in that regard.

I would like to give a shout-out to our main project manager, who has been very helpful throughout the entire project. I would also like to thank everyone else on MOBIKASA’s team.

Overall, we’re very satisfied with MOBIKASA’s work so far.

I have no real suggestions for how MOBIKASA could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take your time working on the ideation and UI design phase and spend some time going back and forth with MOBIKASA’s team to define the best approach for the UI. Additionally, try to get external feedback as well.

I’m a technical manager at an e-commerce marketplace. We’re an early-stage startup.

We partner with them for development services to keep our e-commerce marketplace running.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MOBIKASA provides Shopify development services. Initially, we gave them a detailed description of how our system was arranged and what problems we were facing. We gave them roadmaps laying out where we want the system to be in one month, three months, and further down the road. 

MOBIKASA uses Shopify and Liquid in the frontend and PHP and MySQL in the backend.

What is the team composition?

There are five teammates on the technology team, including the project manager.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend an average of 1.3 million Indian rupees (approximately $16,000 USD) per month. The bill is occasionally higher when we need additional resources.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first discussions were in July 2022, and we solidified the partnership with MOBIKASA in August 2022.

How did you come to work with MOBIKASA?

They were recommended by one of my senior colleagues who had worked with them in the past. We visited MOBIKASA and liked their thought process and presentation.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The system is working properly, which benefits our business; MOBIKASA has definitely added value. For example, if there were website issues causing a high bounce rate before the engagement, and MOBIKASA has resolved even 60% of these issues, that makes our site more engaging, decreases the bounce rate, and increases the conversion rate. This chain of events has a positive impact on revenue.

From an engineering perspective, I can see that the software code has been done correctly. Each MOBIKASA teammate performs correctly and thoughtfully; we’re not dependent on one person. The QA teammate understands the use cases properly. If there’s ever been a red flag or even an orange flag, the project manager was prompt in addressing them. 

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

The technical project manager oversees everything well, and the senior developer understands the requirements and delegates tasks appropriately. When we’ve needed extra hours or effort, MOBIKASA has stepped up. I’m a fan of everything they’ve done.

Most of the time, MOBIKASA respects the timeline and budget. We often want to complete tasks faster than we’re able to. MOBIKASA has been on time significantly more often than not.

MOBIKASA’s developers could be even more forward-thinking than they are now.

If you want to get the most out of an engagement with MOBIKASA, do the homework properly to ensure they understand the requirements.

Mobikasa was utilized for website development by the agency L'Objet hired for the launch of our Magento website. We did not work directly with Mobikasa on the launch. After the agency closed its doors L'Objet hired Mobikasa directly for ongoing maintenance and development.

What were your goals for this project?

Support with day to day tasks- import new products, refresh landing page content and merchandising updates, maintain compliance, improve usability, troubleshoot issues.

How did you select this vendor?

Because they had worked on our site launch it made sense to contract them directly for maintenance.

We did not have a support and maintenance contract in place. We reached out to Mobikasa for several small to medium updates each month, received an effort/cost estimate, and approved projects one-by-one. These projects were always completed to satisfaction. This included importing new products, executing price updates, monthly refresh main home page content, develop custom landing pages for marketing campaigns, minor functionality improvements to improve usability, and resolve minor security issues with recaptcha.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our day-to-day maintenance projects were completed to satisfaction. Ultimately, we reached a point where we were unable to continue on the old version of Magento due to slow site speed, sub-optimal multi-currency/warehouse UX, not GDPR compliant, etc.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We contacted our project manager and developers for all issues and projects. We were generally able to arrange an acceptable turn-around time for scheduled projects. When troubleshooting problems the turnaround time was not as fast as we would have liked, but we also did not have any support relationship in place with Mobikasa, so I would have expected adherence to a specific turn-around time on issues only if such an agreement was in place.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found the team pleasant to work with, but I did not have the opportunity to work on any projects that where very challenging or memorable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Tasks were not testing thoroughly before notifying our team the work was done, so a lot of testing and organizing status of testing comments was required on our end.
