Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CFO of PapaJobs, a startup that’s building an application for hiring blue-collar workers. The app is basically an advanced job board with backend intelligence that helps users to find the most suitable job positions for them.
The app has a chatbot that interviews job seekers, scoring their aptness for certain positions. If there’s no match, the chatbot will invite the user to another job. Otherwise, the bot will arrange an interview at the hiring company’s office.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobihunter?
We needed massive user acquisition—of half a million people—for our mobile application. We wanted to do this through mobile marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mobihunter does most of our mobile marketing work, including creative ads for Facebook, Google, myTarget, YouTube, and other channels. They focus on the cost per acquisition (CPA) of new users.
What is the team composition?
I’m mainly in touch with one of their C-level managers, though we also have an account manager.
How did you come to work with Mobihunter?
They were recommended to me by a former colleague. We gave them a test budget of $5,000, after which they provided good results and demonstrated excellent communication skills, so we decided to prolong the contract.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost has been $200,000 so far and we have an ongoing contract for another $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Mobihunter in December 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Mobihunter has helped reduce our CPA by two or three times in the last six months. We achieved this together through our marketing work and the product itself. Daily installs have increased fivefold over the last three months, and around 20% of new users perform an action on the platform, such as a job search or application.
How did Mobihunter perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate perfectly. We have a two-hour call every week, and they’re always keeping in touch with us through messengers. They respond to every situation as soon as possible, no matter the time, including on weekends and after working hours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a lot of experience in multiple industries.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Mobihunter needs to attract more clients like us in order to gain experience. We work in the HR job industry, and we are their first client in this category.

I’m the communications manager of an IT startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobihunter?
We needed a traffic partner for a Russian advertising platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mobihunter has managed 60–70% of my target traffic. They have a team of media buyers working on our account and they also run automatization campaigns for buying traffic on the platform.
What is the team composition?
I’ve mostly been in touch with one of their principals regarding payments, numbers, and technical issues.
How did you come to work with Mobihunter?
They were working with the company before I started.
How much have you invested with them?
The total budget has been more than half a million of dollars. January 2018 has been our biggest month so far with a payout of more than a hundred thousand dollars a month. We work on a revenue-share model by which we pay partners a percentage of the money their users are spending on our application. This means that the spend does not matter very much to us because we only pay based on user acquisitions. We know that Mobihunter is paying less for the leads they’re bringing in.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in June 2017 and have an ongoing collaboration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We work with them transparently and are able to see both their earnings and expenditure. Mobihunter’s results have been outstanding, with an average ROI of 50%.
We can’t attribute our growth to a single agency since we’re working with a lot of different partners. We’ve increased the payout to Mobihunter month by month, from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of dollars. They’ve had no problems scaling.
How did Mobihunter perform from a project management standpoint?
I haven’t had any issues with their team in this area, unlike other partners. I have conversations with their contact once per month and it doesn’t take up too much of my time. We mainly communicate over Skype and use email for more significant details.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their performance has been the most significant factor. Our team still cannot fully understand what the key to their high ROI is.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve met our expectations better than other partners. Mobihunter could increase its breadth of services, but their expertise lies in the type of work we’re doing at the moment. They’re amazing in that respect.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You should let the team do their job. I wasn’t with the company for the onboarding process, so I can’t comment on what initial questions you need to ask. However, I’m confident in Mobihunter’s ability to deliver.

Since the beginning of cooperation our KPIs increased approx. at 50%. We significantly increased the % of our paid traffic and achieved results in quick self-sufficiency and profit growth.
