We searched online for app developers in our area. Unfortunately the developer we got did a shoddy job and so we reached out to Mobicommerce who did a fantastic job and why we chose them is because of the cost estimate, project timelines, design skills and customer support and experience.

We had a series of meetings online and they came up with a project plan that we could follow as the app was being developed. We used Basecamp as the platform for communication and for getting updates as the project proceeded. In the plan, they gave an outline of what will be needed. This includes the website access, the developer account access (for both Google and Apple), the mobile application publishing info and finally the UDID for IOS demo app.

A project manager was assigned to be our main point of contact throughtout the project. Additionally, i mostly interacted with another developer who assist in the front and backend.

After the completion of the mobile app, we went ahead to market the app on social media and from that, we have seen tremendous results from customers downloads, customers placing orders through the app, customers being able to make payment as well through the app and basically the customer experience they have had which is a huge plus on our end.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We used basecamp as the tool for communication and the response time from him was amazing. Everything was delivered on time and we received ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be met. All in all, the project was delivered on time without any delay whatsoever.

Their mobile app development skills blew me away. The UX designs are phenomenal both in mobile and web. Their professionalism and patience were good compared with others who came up with the same app but failed terribly. Therefore, having the patience to walk with us through the development process was amazing.
