For 25 years, Wtórpol has been one of the biggest companies in the textile recycling, alternative fuel, and cleaning cloth manufacturing industries. We export processed clothing to over 30 countries on three continents, and operate a constantly expanding network of second-hand stores. I'm responsible for marketing and public relations.

Mobee Dick created a new communication strategy and brand for Wtórpol and the Eco Textil Foundation. 

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted new branding and fully functional websites. 

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Another company created a website that unfortunately didn't fulfill our expectations, so we decided to start the whole process from scratch. After finding other websites we liked, both functionally and visually, we chose them.

Describe the project in detail.

The most important and difficult stage was the beginning. After a long interview and detailed workshops, we worked out a new communication strategy and began work on the website. The new strategy showed what we needed and how the new website should look.

Later, everything went smoothly and quickly. They presented nearly perfect designs that required only a few corrections. They heard us accurately and came to the right conclusions. We worked on both websites almost simultaneously, and are still building creative online communication solutions.

What was the team composition?

There are several people on our team. The team manager supervises everyone, plans each individual stage of our projects, consults with teams, gathers comments, and submits them to our project manager. This cooperation conveniently streamlines our workflow and shortens our task relocation time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website is modern, clear, and consistent with our overall communication strategy. Current and new customers still offer positive feedback about its usability, flow, and appearance. We gained new customers because of those improvements.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project manager was competent and organized. We mainly communicated through telephone calls and conferences. The manager guarded deadlines, supervised the flow of information, and implemented every detail of our feedback and expectations.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Mobee Dick was open, creative, and flexible, and their team had interesting and innovative ideas. This kind of cooperation was completely new for us, but they worked with commitment and precision. We trusted them because they made huge changes in our company, and we appreciated that they cooperated during both large and small projects.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing needed to improve. They might be able to implement new projects more quickly, but quality is the most important element.

We wanted to improve downloads, conversion rate, average cart size and value, stickiness, new accounts, and net promoter score (NPS).

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We went through a tender process that included Mobee Dick and five other vendors. Mobee Dick won because of their rich analysis, which was supported by mockups and extensive knowledge and experience. Their team seemed to be supportive and strong.

Describe the project in detail.

We studied worldwide UI trends and developed many mockups before finally settling on our design theme. Mobee Dick coordinated lab testing and helped us adjust our designs based on their results. We then started an agile development process where we accept newly demonstrated functionalities every two weeks. They handle both software integration and user acceptance testing for every sprint.

What was the team composition?

Mobee Dick provides a project manager, a UX designer, and a UI designer. We’re also utilizing their usual software development house.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is still in progress, but we believe it’ll be a competitive way for people to buy groceries in our market. We look forward to enhancing it with additional functionalities we’re already working on.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicate openly and directly, and both sides are open to the other's considerations and arguments. They turnaround changes quickly and deliver features promptly. While I’d like to have a list of functionalities that can reflect real-time changes, we only have a static Excel document.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They take a custom approach to each customer, immersing themselves in new industries via data analysis and an investigation of end-user and business goals. They’re flexible in the face of requested changes and straightforward about the value their knowledge provides.

They could be better in responding to communication and coordinating development.

The audit and testing reports clarified—early on—crucial issues. One large issue concerning navigation of the application redefined our application goal. We most appreciate their detailed recommendations concerning project changes; these allowed for fast implementation without the need for lengthy conceptual processes. With every new release, Mobee gradually implemented less crucial improvements.

Our work with their team was professional, especially in regards to their communication. They effectively explained certain choices during the testing process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Mobee team’s effective communication complemented their understanding of business perspectives and goals. They tested the application professionally and presented a clear report that highlighted key issues and topics for improvement.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We provided testing material that was not ideal and sometimes problematic. I could have expected some more push—from the agency side—to force us to prepare a better testing application. However, their team easily dealt with issues and minimized any consequential effects.
