Our company is a kit home designer and manufacturer specialising in traditional hand-crafted carpentry to produce portal frame (load- bearing) construction techniques using large timber posts and beams.

I was trying to upgrade my internet presence and generate more enquiries.

MLK Marketing was engaged to design an updated "refreshed website image. They were also to undertake SEO work to generate more website traffic and leads.
What's the status of this engagement?
No longer engaged.

How did your relationship with MLK Marketing evolve?
I was cold called by an MLK salesperson. We discussed what I was hoping to achieve. I was assured by the salesman that MLK Marketing could bring this to fruition.

I am not qualified to answer this question.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
I’ve had an epiphany. I came to realize that MLK Marketing is the pinnacle of business ethics and customer care. My previous low opinion of MLK Marketing shown below is incorrect.

I recently engage MLK Marketing to enhance  the SEO strategy for my agency. The project yileded measurable outcomes that demonstrate clear progress and success and we love it. Our organic traffic increased by 50% within 3 months. That is amazing!

A solar air conditioning company has hired MLK Marketing for SEO and SMM activities. They are tasked with launching a campaign and setting up social media advertisements.

MLK Marketing has used incorrect keywords and has delivered unoriginal backend documentation that is unrelated to the company. Their social media commitments also do not meet expectations. They conduct only one scheduled monthly meeting, ultimately resulting in a negative client review.

We hired MLK to work on our SEO and set up and post social media. Maintaining a strong SEO and improving our position was important.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After reviewing several companies their sales person - Sam seemed the best suited as it seemed he understood our needs and business.

The campaign was to be launched within one month of determining keywords, and setting up social media ads and accounts then improve from there on.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with 3 project managers all who never understood my business like the initial salesperson.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The keywords were never correct, the backend documentation they put together was all plagiarised from other sites that had nothing to do with our product. They never posted anything on social media and the work they eventually presented to use as adds were so amateurish. They claim to be an Australian site but the work is done elsewhere as the English was terrible.

One scheduled meeting per month and the promises were never met. They rarely return phone calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nothing. They removed us from admin access from our website so we had no control. then when we cancelled our contract due to non performance, they blackmailed us and eventually closed our website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could have simply completed the work we agreed to and all would be fine. They are a terrible organisation that have fake reviews.
