To receive copies Amended Tax Returns for 2017, 2016, and 2015 and to have them filed with the IRS.

BEWARE – I am reporting Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More to the IRS for Preparer Misconduct for: 1. Did not provide client with a copy of the return he or she prepared, and refused to provide a copy after a request. 2. Agreed to file return but did not. 3. The preparer charged for services not performed. FACTS: I paid $1,500.00 to Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More to prepare and file Amendments for years 2017, 2016, 2015. On 07/30/2019 she showed me in person in her office a one page document for each of the 3 amendments and said she would file all three electronically. I contacted Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More numerous times to inquire about the status of the 3 amendments for 2017, 2016, and 2015 but she insisted it could take up to 12 weeks to process. I requested copies of the amended returns but she would not provide them and said to give the IRS more time to process the returns. I kept logging into the "Where's My Amended Return" IRS website and the website says, “Your amended return information is currently unavailable in this application. It takes up to 3 weeks for an amended return to show on your account. You can generally expect your amended return to be processed within 16 weeks from the date we receive it. Check the date you filed your amended return and try again later”. I contacted Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More after 13 weeks, 20 weeks, and beyond and she insisted that she filed the 3 amendments for 2017. 2016, and 2015 and refused to provide me with a copy of the amended returns. Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More did not provide me, the client, with a copy of the 3 amendments she claimed she prepared, and refused to provide a copy after many requests. Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More agreed to file the 3 Amended Returns for 2017, 2016, and 2015 and did not. Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More charged me $1,500 for services not performed since she did not prepare and file the 3 Amended Returns for 2017, 2016, and 2015. I just checked again today 04/03/2020 on the "Where's My Amended Return" IRS website and it still says, “Your amended return information is currently unavailable in this application. It takes up to 3 weeks for an amended return to show on your account. You can generally expect your amended return to be processed within 16 weeks from the date we receive it. Check the date you filed your amended return and try again later”.

Johanna Garcia at MJ Taxes and More should refund the $1,500 since she never filed the Amended Tax Returns for 2017, 2016, and 2015.
