I am the managing director at a wholesale candle supplier in the Australian market.  

What challenge were you trying to address with Mitash Digital?

We hired Mitash Digital to develop our website. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mitash Digital developed and hosted a website where customers could place orders and connect to our warehouse management and accounting systems. Initially, the site was only in Magento, but it's since been upgraded to an e-commerce platform. 

What is the team composition?

I've worked with three teammates from Mitash Digital, Ash (CEO and Founder), Michael (Business Developer), and David (Web Developer). 

How did you come to work with Mitash Digital?

I was initially working with Mitash Digital through a third-party vendor, and when that partnership ended, I wanted to continue to work with them. They could accommodate my budget and coordinate all the development work within it. Since I'd had experience working with them previously and their managing director was located in Melbourne, I was confident hiring them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We have a monthly package that costs around $7,000 AUD (approximately $5,000 USD) per year in conjunction with a hosting package that costs $5,000 AUD (approximately $3,600 USD) per year. 

What is the status of this engagement?

My engagement with Mitash Digital began in January 2015, and it's ongoing. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don't have any specific metrics, but I haven't had any complaints from my customers. From time to time, there are issues, but that's why we have a monthly support package with Mitash Digital — I log a support ticket and it gets resolved. 

How did Mitash Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Mitash Digital had good project management — the last upgrade went according to plan. They updated me regularly so I could plan around project changes and issues. Generally, we used Skype and Loom to communicate.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mitash Digital addresses issues I have with the project quickly and is clear on whether or not changes are an additional charge or part of the support contract. Their team is very responsive and, even if they miss something, they're quick to fix it once it's pointed out. I've never put in a request that Mitash Digital hasn't been able to execute.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would appreciate it if Mitash Digital provided a report on why technical issues have happened, especially regarding site crashes. However, they're aware of this issue and are getting better at reporting the aftermath of incidents. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise clients to be very clear about their needs so Mitash Digital can ask the right questions about the project and build the right website for them. Going into a project with Mitash Digital with a clear scope will save time and money.
