The work we required was broken into two distinct phases, first the fine tuning of a custom AI model that would be capable of producing marketing copy from a training dataset made available to us by the customer. As per the customers request the model should produce results both in their voice as well as with the capability of producing marketing copy with a required sentiment. After this phase we required the model to be deployed using a stable Flask API endpoint.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We needed this project delivered on time, which Mission Automate facilitated, even with a constrained timeline. As the output of the generative AI was subjective, its measurable outcomes would be hard to define, but in all the customer was satisfied with the result.

They were very timely, and integrated well with our in house team and processes. They provided technical output that was clear to understand and very professional which made reviewing their work easy. Towards the end of the project we received additional feedback from the customer which they managed quite well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very flexible and needed minimum input and oversight from us to perform the contracted task. Their results were also formatted and done in a manner that made code revision simple and helped us integrate their work into our larger offering.

In all for contract work I wouldn't recommend anything.

Mission Automate helped us design and develop a mobile app solution from scratch using Figma, JavaScript, Python, and React. The main functionality was allowing users to vote online through our platform.

Working with Mission Automate was a great experience.

How did Mission Automate perform from a project management standpoint?

Mission Automate’s team was very communicative; they were always clear with their daily tasks and updated us on the process through weekly meetings. Regarding tools, we used Trello, Zoom, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mission Automate grasped our project's concept right away without needing hand-holding from our end.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on because everything was great.

I am open to which ever architecture you believe would be best for this project but I really like the ones below. I want to have the ability to adjust the queries and would like for the entire stack (including anything used to build docker images) to live in AWS.
2. Forecast trending threats vulnerabilities and user response to such (#log4j and #remediation and/or #fix) - 40h
3. List Top 10 Trending Vulns on Twitter in a Tableau or AWS Quicksight chart/table and embed this in my Squarespace website - 20h

PiMios is an IoT product development company. My role is CEO.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mission Automate?

We were attempting to integrate a machine learning pipeline into our product ecosystem, and we did not have internal expertise to build the solution ourselves. Mission Automate built and documented our Google Cloud architecture that we could test and develop further.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We sent an RFP through Upwork. I found Alex had the background and expertise for what we were looking for. After 2-3 interviews, we engaged Mission Automate as an outside contractor to perform the work.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They built a Flask application to ingest data from IoT devices in the field. The Flask application fed a MongoDB database that Mission Automate provisioned for our application. The MongoDB instance was connected through Google Cloud Platform to leverage Tensorflow for Microcontrollers which allowed us to train and test models based on the data we collected in the field.

We interfaced with 3 people from the Mission Automate team. I do not remember their specific titles.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their work was high quality and fast. Unfortunately, the project was put on hold due to the customer's finances. We plan to pick the project back when funding becomes available again.

We communicated mostly via email with weekly calls to cover important details. They provided detailed documentation with clear instructions on how to use what they built.

The knowledge and skill set of each team member was very impressive. They can execute reliably with a clear set of requirements.
