How to make accessories for a vehicle interesting? By borrowing ideas from car commercials we managed to make a tractor 'col' again.

The Bridgford Desk
We created a promotional video for the world's first, executive, connected, desk. The desk is epic so we felt the video should be as well.

Brindley Place by Drone
A fly-over of the iconic Brindley Place area in Birmingham showing off key buildings and come facts about them to attract investors to the area.

CGI Gardens
We created a CGI fly-through of a new garden based on measurements from the space and the blueprint design. This is a more basic version of some of the more complex CGI work we can create.

In search of Lions
One of a series of twelve videos commissioned by Aston Villa football club to explore the past glories of key players from the club's long and impressive history.

JCB Brand Film
JCB attended Agritechnica in Germany, the World's largest agricultural show, and they required a film to showcase the agricultural side of the business. The film also needed to highlight their state of the art Uptime Centre and LiveLink app.
This film was created with an unusual aspect ratio so it would fit their display screen (that were eight feet wide) at the show.

Central Vauxhall
We have worked with Vauxhall for many years and we created this piece to showcase the new vehicles on offer as well as the benefits of using them.
Andy Goudling is the presenter and, over the year, became the face of Vauxhall in the West Midlands.

Fundraising Animation
We were commissioned to create a fundraising animation for St Mary's Calne, a private school trying to raise funds to build new facilities.
We create the assets, animation and script from scratch and work on every aspect of the production from initiation through to delivery.

Tri Harder
We followed GB age-group Triathlete, Lauren Turvey, through a week of training and gained insight into what it takes to win a triathlon at the highest level.
This content was used to show the benefits of a Garmin watch when training.

NTS training Video
We were commissioned to create nine training videos for West Midlands trains and this is one of them. Each video concentrated on one area of the business, highlighting an issue and where NTS training can help. The videos were hosted online and used across workshops and an NTS roadshow for staff.

Oakham Gold
M&S are becoming the sole supplier of the Oakham Gold chicken and this is the story of the suppliers behind a new free range, sustainable bird

Valentines
A series of five videos focusing on different events throughout the year leading up to the London Marathon. This was one part of a multichannel campaign centred on the concept of losing a partner to running training (for the marathon). The video content was used across online and social media to create a light-hearted look at the marathon and to offer London Pride as the perfect drink to take is easy with.

Brand Film
Sunbelt are the UK's largest plant machinery rental company and this video was aimed at telling their story to employees, board members, existing and new customers. Video Production for Summer School
"Mint Film was an all-around fantastic company to work with."

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Marketing Officer for Bucksmore Education, a prestigious UK academic summer school for international students operating out of Oxbridge Colleges and top boarding schools.
For what projects/services did your company hire Mint Film, and what were your goals?
We hired Mint Film to collect a range of video and photography content for our courses and centres so that we could produce a range of overview videos that will be used to promote Bucksmore to students all around the world, as well as collecting updated photos to use in our marketing materials.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Mint Film was referred to Bucksmore by another department from our parent company (Nord Anglia Education). We decided to go with Mint Film due to their detailed and clear proposal, reasonable quotes and the friendly and professional personality of Alan, who we had the initial discovery calls with.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with a discovery call which was followed up by Mint with a detailed timeline, suggested schedule and informative quotes. Alan kindly arranged a meeting with various members of his team before we started filming so that we could get to know one another, which was a great benefit. We then spent 5 days filming across a range of different locations across the UK.
The team were friendly, professional and able to work autonomously throughout the days. Mint then produced 6 location overview videos, 1 general overview and a selection of testimonial videos. They will also provide shorted social media clips. Alongside this, we also received over 400 photos for each of our locations.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We worked with Alan as the project manager, the film crew (Josh, Chris and Rory) and 2 photographers (Matt and John). I was with the team on every occasion, so feedback was 'live' as we went through the process. The team made many great suggestions throughout the filming days which have proved valuable to creating wow-factor videos!
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Whilst we have yet to officially release videos, the entire Bucksmore Head Office team we incredibly impressed with the videos and I know they will prove to be invaluable to our regional colleagues for promoting our courses.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Alan was fantastic to communicate with and was efficient and flexible throughout. We communicated mostly over email and mobile as everyone was remote. The filming days went by without a hitch and first edits of the videos were submitted via Frame.io in a timely manner.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Mint Film was an all-around fantastic company to work with. They were quick to learn about our products and were able to make suggestions that helped to make the videos even better. The film crew gave input to testimonials in regard to questions asked and captured some really unique shots that we as a company are delighted with. This aside, the team are genuinely some of the most friendly and easy to work with people I've had the pleasure of meeting, and I would highly recommend them to a range of different industries.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Senior Product & Marketing manager for a bicycle distributor. We produce a wide selection of bikes for the whole family.
For what projects/services did your company hire Mint Film, and what were your goals?
We hired Mint film to produce a cost effective brand video for marketing purposes to our Trade and Retail customers. We wanted something suitable for social media as well as trade advertising that was short, "snappy", colourful and fun.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We sent the project brief out to multiple vendors, Mint film came back with an attractive quote and proactive approach.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with initial concept discussions via email, then met at the location to run through the story board MINT had created. Unfortunately due to weather the original shoot had to be cancelled but luckily MINT handled it well and managed to find an alternative location at a later date to suit. MINT handled casting, so our staff simply arrived on the day with product and oversaw the production
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
Our sole point of contact was Alan who has been great throughout. He overcame the initial problem with weather and was patient throughout delays from our side as well as multiple edits to completion.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We've only just received the final video so have only just posted on social media. We intend on sharing it further afield via our trade customers and continued social activity.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Very informal, relaxed (in a good way!) and accommodating.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to adapt and finalize the project within a time that suits us was amazing.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
It would have been good to meet the kids/cast beforehand to set them up better on the product, but due to COVID-19 and also lack of product samples from our part that didn't happen - nevertheless we're happy with the end result

“They brought an immense imagination to the project.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the partnership officer of a rail travel organization.
What challenge were you trying to address with GG Media?
We needed help promoting a small branch line.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They came up with a storyboard, based on what I told them about the line. From there, they did the voiceover for the actual storyboard. Next, they did the filming of the train and the attractions around the station. Then, they created two videos; one two-minute video for Facebook and one four-minute video for the website. Finally, they added a professional voiceover for both videos.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Alan (Director/Producer).
How did you come to work with GG Media?
Alan and I live in the same neighborhood, and I knew I needed a quick solution to this particular issue. Alan was willing to work with me on this particular project in the timeline that I needed.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent just under 1,000 pounds (approximately $1,300 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in July 2020, and the videos were completed in October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Although the videos haven’t launched yet, they’ve been received with positive feedback. Generally, it’s been a good experience.
How did GG Media perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated via phone, email, and in-person during filming.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They brought an immense imagination to the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Initially, the weak part of the project was that we didn’t tie down the script sufficiently before we started, which led to some comments coming back to us to have it completed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to be open to their suggestions, but also clear in your mind and with your stakeholders about what you want.
