We hired them to develop a website for our client Lifeline Pharma. We did the design and wanted them to build it for the client.

We have worked with this vendor on several occasions, and it is this positive track record that gave us the confidence to work with them on this project.

Front end Wordpress development using a theme and modifying it to match the design. Client facing back end portal on Wordpress so client can upload new products and descriptions, news, etc.

Our end client was very satisfied with the build. The new site was a big step forward for their business.

We communicated via email. Timelines were adhered to without any significant hiccups.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are easy to reach and engage with. Their work is good and the work is executed on budget and on time without too much intervention and assistance from the design team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Like all developers, they can improve the quality of the first cut from a responsive perspective and from matching the design better.

I am a Product Design & Technology Consultant to one of India's largest Mobile Tech Organisations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mindstack Technologies?

We have just finished developing our chatbot platform and were looking for a team for building the UI/UX for the same. This was more challenging than it sounds. I searched and searched a lot, internationally, and couldn't find any suitable team who had anything to show in this space that would make me want to partner with them. Until i stumbled upon Mindstack.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to build a world class, scalable and stable UI interface that would offer the UX that we wanted to offer to our clients. There were many technical challenges involved, right from understanding the technology stack to configuring the communication protocol between the UI and the server and so on...

How did you select this vendor?

Mindstack has their own, and an excellent one i must add, chatbot platform which specialises in NLP (Natural Language Processing). I liked the functional, Minimal and yet stable interface they had for their own platform and so got in touch with them with my requirement. I was not disappointed.

Describe the project in detail.

The project had many complexities, right from the access to our server to building the UI and API calls from scratch to configuring the timings, the transitions, the effects, the 'FEEL' of the chat for the end user, the sharing of media, and designing all other elements of chat optimized to offer the best UX we could offer. I'm glad to share, i couldn't have hired a better team, worldwide, for achieving what Mindstack helped us achieve.

What was the team composition?

Their team is lean, quick, flexible and Excellent in Communication and Understanding what I had in mind, converting my ideas to User Experiences seamlessly. I am Extremely happy to have come across them and chosen them for this.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are just in the process of launching our chat platform for our clients and after extensive testing, tweaking, fine-tuning and optimising, we are confident that the product Midstack has delivered to us meets our Organisation's and our Enterprise Customer's stringent quality expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I, being the point of contact between our organisation's team and mindstack team, can affirm that the flow of communication and development was as smooth as it could be. I have worked with 100's of development firms across the globe and can easily give Mindstack a 5 Star Rating for this aspect.

There could be some improvement in meeting timelines, but then that's an issue almost everywhere in our sector and the problems are usually not due to any one party, some delays that occurred in the project timelines could be attributed to our side as well as theirs, so cannot blame any one for them.

I’m the founder and CEO of a virtual financial planning and investment management platform. We help millennials all over the country to take control of their finances.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mindstack Technologies?

We were redoing our brand and website. We relied on another provider to develop our designs, but we engaged Mindstack Technologies to actually implement them.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Once we had solidified our design elements, we presented them to Mindstack, who scoped the project and gave us a price. After we had agreed upon the processes, Mindstack helped migrate our platform to WordPress over the course of two weeks.

It was a collaborative project where they shared the site with us as they worked on it. We provided feedback, which they incorporated. We held phone calls 3–4 times a week to make sure that the product was in line with our expectations.

One sophisticated feature that they developed is a custom algorithm that allows users to see whether they fit into a specific economic demographic. It’s a quiz that people can take on our website, but it can also be integrated into sites like BuzzFeed.

While our website is up and live, they’re currently working on the final stages of our mobile site.

My main points of contact have always been Arun (Director, Mindstack Technologies) and Shazhad (Co-Founder, Mindstack Technologies).

How did you come to work with Mindstack Technologies?

They were recommended to us by our design firm in India.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project began in January of 2018 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Mindstack Technologies’ delivered a great site that’s already seeing a high conversion rate. While it’s challenging to make a financial firm look engaging and fun, they’ve managed to pull it off in their delivery of our website. While I don’t have any hard metrics, we’ve received great feedback. They’ve been able to implement complex and sophisticated designs very nicely.

How did Mindstack Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been very responsive and communicative. We use email and Skype to communicate, and Excel and Trello to track bugs and issues. They’re very good about looking through these tools to give good insights and ask the right questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ultimately, they’re competent professionals—which can be hard to find. It’s evident that they care a lot about the projects which they make sure they’re on top of. As a business owner, I’m comforted by their clear dedication to the end product. I feel that I’ve been very lucky because I’ve heard about the challenges of working with offshore teams.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. They’ve been a stellar partner, so we have and will continue to engage them for future projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t go to them with just an idea—you need to know what you’re doing. You need to approach them with a well-defined idea so that you can execute upon it beautifully.

We hired Mindstack for building our website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Mindstack online. We asked them to build a sample web page and were very impressed with the output. Based on that, we selected them.

We basically gave them the content and design of the website in Adobe XD format. They then developed each web page in a test staging server and sought our approval. Once we approved all the pages, we went live on our production server.

Two people (Senior and Junior Developer) from Mindstack worked with us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our website was well-received both internally by our employees and externally by our clients and other prospects. We witnessed healthy traffic on a daily basis which helped us in improving brand awareness.

We had weekly meetings on the progress of each web page. Once we gave them our approval for a page, they moved on to the next page and so on.
