I'm the director of engineering for multiple projects in Flywire. We've been building vertical specific applications to facilitate international payments.

We've hired mindit.io for multiple projects. They've supplied us with resources in developing our client dashboards, our payment experiences and also for our customisable education shopping card solution

We've hired them through recommendations and also after having some initial discussions with them

We've already been developing our projects. MindIT came along to lend a hand in taking the apps to the next step. We've been doing CI/CD for our projects and their resources integrated easily and were able to provide value quickly. We have a variety of tech in our apps: java, react, angular, broadleaf, thymeleaf

We have a total of 12 people, assigned to different projects. They range from QA, Java dev or React dev

We've been able to deliver faster the promised features we had in our backlog

The resources they provided have been tracking time on our side. Apart from that we've been in constant communication with their teach leads and project managers. They've been very responsive and quick to act.

I’m the CEO of a publishing company. 

What challenge were you trying to address with mindit.io?

We needed help in custom software development. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

mindit.io is developing an automated tool that pays our authors’ royalties. The software automates the entire process, and we only need to upload information from our retailers. In addition, mindit.io is also developing an AI-enabled solution that reads manuscripts and analyzes sentiments to help our authors write better. Both the projects have been built from scratch. 

mindit.io is also doing small design tasks for us, including revamping our website. They are also implementing ad hoc automation and digitization efforts for our company, and they’re documenting our processes. We use them for all our technology needs.

I’m working with at least 10 resources, including two project managers.

I encountered their owner in an educational program.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve started working together in February 2021, and it’s ongoing. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before working with mindit.io, our royalty process takes us 1–2 days to complete — we’ve reduced that to less than an hour. Our operations have become streamlined due to their automation efforts. 

We’ve saved the equivalent of at least 1–2 full-time employees by automating our processes. I’m 100% satisfied with mindit.io’s work; they’ve exceeded my expectations. 

How did mindit.io perform from a project management standpoint?

mindit.io has been excellent at project management. Their work is always within budget and 90% on time. We meet 1–2 times a week, and we collaborate through emails and cloud-based documents. They’ve been accommodating with my schedule.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

mindit.io sets expectations realistically — before they take on a project, they research if they can do it. They won’t take something unless they know they have the skillset for it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ll appreciate it if they can deliver projects quicker, but it’s not a big issue for me. I understand that that’s not possible all the time due to scope changes and other factors. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You need to be on top of the project — ensure you have a clear idea of where you want to go and articulate that. Give mindit.io the necessary permissions to carry things out. Be incredibly responsive to their team, and don’t let the project sit still.

I’m the CTO of Swisscom Health, a leading telecom company.

What challenge were you trying to address with mindit.io?

We needed a development partner to help us build our SaaS applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

mindit.io supports our software development efforts, specifically focusing on building our electronic patient record (EPR) and medical data exchange systems. Each system has a different set of requirements, which their team considers before building software solutions and special features. They handle the design, development, and testing phases — once they conduct rigorous product testings to our software components, we deploy and integrate these into our system for our customers to utilize.

We work with a team of about 10 resources, including their software engineers, developers, testers, a project manager, and a scrum master.

One of our partner managers strongly recommended mindit.io's team to us.

We've spent €700,000 (approximately $792,000 USD) so far.

Our ongoing engagement started in May 2020.

mindit.io unfailingly meets our expectations by taking ownership of their tasks and delivering what they've promised. Their engineers have above-average skill sets, and they deliver on-point results while maintaining an agreeable relationship with us.

How did mindit.io perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Microsoft Teams and use Jira for project management. mindit.io respects our budget and timelines. There've been a few hiccups in terms of delivery rates, but both parties are accountable for that.

Their skilled and proactive resources are always willing to adapt to our processes and accommodate our change requests.

I'm the lead of the integration team in Dufry Global team.

For what projects/services did your company hire mindit.io?

We perform integration between different systems such ERPs and internal applications.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Their experience working with IBM integration tools, as with other ones such as SSIS.

The team is in charge of developing new interfaces, performing the mappings and using different protocols to connect to each component. The team is also in charge of the maintenance.

I work with an account manager, and 8 developers, some of them are senior developers, and other ones are junior developers.

We move some information like Master Data info for articles through different systems.

It's easy communicate with them. Usually we use Teams to do it.

The quality and the commitment of the team is really good.

We are improving some internal things, but in general everything is fine.
