Micron helped develop an investment platform from 0. The goal was to launch an MVP within 5-6 months.

Micron was recommended to us by a company that used their services previously.

In the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic with all the challenges that it brought, we worked with Micron to launch our investment platform, completing the whole development process 100% remotely.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our experience of working with Micron for almost 2 years has been a journey of tremendous commitment, results, good relationships, and trust. Micron has been a very strong partner in the development, deployment, and constant improvement of the first stage of Tribe Funding Investment Marketplace service.

In 6 months we were able to Go-Live with our core product, providing services to more than 20 countries from our base in Tallinn, Estonia.

Direct communication with the team via various messengers. Management of tasks in Trello.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with the quality of their people and their experience, as well as the deep engagement they bring to our operations, and the way they treat the people they interact with, make the Micron team a fantastic partner to work with. Rarely can You find a talented, hard-working group of people with such a level of integrity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The quality of work was good.

I’m the founder of Flipful, a payroll solutions provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with Micron?

We needed someone to develop an MVP for our payroll solution within a short timeframe.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Micron developed the dashboard and mobile banking apps for us for both iOS and Android. They used Django and React for the development of the MVP.

What is the team composition?

There were two developers and a project manager working on the project. 

How did you come to work with Micron?

Micron was one of the companies I was considering. I briefly explained the project and they confirmed they could do it within the short timeframe we set. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $10,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together from November 2019–February 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The MVP was of great quality and was delivered within the required timeframe. There were only a few bugs that we needed to fix, so we were completely happy with their work. Users have already begun using it and our clients are satisfied. Thanks to their work, we hope to continue further with the MVP.

How did Micron perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication between our teams was very easy. To start the project, they proactively worked with us to establish a timeline. We used Trello and worked in sprints. Our daily communication was through phone, meetings, and WhatsApp. Whenever I needed changes or had questions, it was easy to reach out to the project manager and get everything resolved quickly. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their speed and quality of work were impressive.

No, there’s nothing for them to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you have a project in mind, discuss all the details in the first meeting or call. The more you discuss your vision, the development team can better match it.
