BACKGROUND

Can you give a brief description of your company?

We make food additives for bakery, meats, animal feeds, and for beer and wine. We make all sorts of food ingredients to enhance the production of food.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What was your main goal for undertaking the project with Miadria?

The primary reason [for the project] was that we had Microsoft Exchange.  It was too big, too expensive to administer, and we had many problems. We had to have our own hardware and other supporting infrastructure. We were searching for a solution to get a very sophisticated and reliable mail and collaboration service. We found that in Google Apps.

What was your process for identifying and then choosing Miadria?

Our company is located in Croatia so we tried to search for a reseller in Croatia. We found Miadria, and they resell Google Apps. It was early 2010, three years ago. They were a start-up, so we were maybe one of their first clients. We are very satisfied with them and our relationship.

SOLUTION

Could you tell me a little more about the scope of the project?

The biggest help was the transaction. Being based in Croatia and not wanting to put the charge on a credit card, payment was our biggest problem. We discussed a number of possibilities for training, but I did everything myself with a little help from Miadria.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Is there anything you find unique or special about Miadria compared to other developers or vendors that you’ve worked with?

Yes, they are very cooperative. Everything I asked, they immediately did. When we have to renew our licenses for Google Apps, they contact us without problems. We are now discussing some changes and training. We are now implementing a much more complex Google Apps deployment. Everybody is now using it on their Smartphone, Web and computer. We’ll need education for our 85 users.

Looking back on the project, is there anything that you would want to change or do differently a second time around, or that you think that Miadria could improve upon?

No, I don’t think anything. Everything was great with them.
