I’m the finance manager of a website and development firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with The MFA Companies?

We hired them for a few different things, but they’re mainly helping us with our taxes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The MFA Companies uses a platform called Suralink. Within this platform, they list all of the materials and information we need to provide them with in order for them to successfully submit our taxes at the end of the year. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with three teammates from The MFA Companies and I had one main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with The MFA Companies?

I wasn’t involved in the selection process, so I’m not sure how we came to work with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $25,000–$30,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018 and our engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The biggest metric is that they successfully do and submit our taxes for us, which means we avoid getting into any trouble with the government. 

How did The MFA Companies perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re really responsive. Since they help with submitting taxes, we have specific deadlines and they’ve been very helpful in meeting those. The Suralink tool makes it very clear what we need to deliver to them, too. All of the back and forth is handled within that portal, so we don’t need to have a bunch of emails either. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t really worked with other companies at this level so it’s hard to compare them. I appreciated them helping me to learn the Suralink program quickly. There is always more than one person available, so we never lose contact. For our relationship, multiple people are in the loop on a regular basis which is helpful. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re good at what they do. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Everything is straightforward because they’re clear, easy people to work with.
