Sometimes cross departmental communications can have mis-aligned timelines thus creating confussion or missed expectation from the client's end.
Additionally, there is sometimes instructions / requests that are missed; in particular if it falls outside the normal scope of their internal processes. The above being said, we have used Meru for over 5 years so these "issues" are few and far between and have never been enough of an issue to warrant using a different provider. Meru is always willing to improve and ensure we get the result we are looking for.

There were some issues with the personal taxes that took quite a while to get through, but it was also not a cut and drive situation either. There tended to be a bit of a language barrier at points, butwith a bunch of work, it seems to have resolved itself.

On 09/02/23, my company was billed $509.85 by Meru Accounting (Rushabah, Harnish, and Viana) for bookkeeping services that were never provided. Despite our company not receiving any books, Meru refused to refund the deposit. In response, I initiated a dispute with my bank over the unrendered services.
Regrettably, to this day, we have not received the refund. Meru's actions have resulted in a loss of $509.85 for our company, and it is imperative that they are held accountable for their fraudulent behavior. Additionally, numerous individuals have shared similar complaints about Meru on various platforms. I urge for the reimbursement of $509.85 owed to our company due to the absence of services rendered.

Later, they booked a meeting - still their senior decision making POC Rushabh didn't show up, and instead wasted time following up with other juniors. They agreed to provide me another quote for catch up months of 2023 in 2 days but then they instead stopped responding completely. Got a refund of $100 plus a wasted month in waiting.
