I’m the COO of Medical Systems Management. We manage multiple medical clinics, helping them organize their tasks and improve their revenues.

We needed someone to build our website and help with marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Meros Media built our website from scratch, and they currently maintain it, handling updates or changes. For example, they update staffing changes; we provide them with employees’ pictures and bios, and they post them on the site. The team also provides suggestions for updates focused on increasing traffic. 

Our company organizes promotional events where people can come and learn about us. Meros Media organizes and coordinates these events, and they provide all the marketing material needed for them. They’ve created all our print material, including brochures, pamphlets, and business cards. The team also sends out paper invitations and digital invitations via email. Additionally, they do geographical analysis and suggest the right area to conduct these events, helping us determine which potential customers we should go after. 

We’ve recently started promoting ourselves on social media. Meros Media manages our accounts on LinkedIn and Facebook, and we’re looking at their suggestions for additional platforms. The team creates the content, and we review it and have final approval. They post ads targeted to multiple states within the country.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Parisa (Founder & CEO) and Anthony (Advertising Manager). They have many people behind the scenes doing copywriting and other tasks. 

How did you come to work with Meros Media?

Parisa was introduced to our company through our former marketer because Meros Media could offer website design, which our previous provider didn’t. 

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent close to $100,000. We’re currently budgeted for $25,000 a year with them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around May 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Meros Media presents a monthly result report, and our metrics have steadily climbed each month. We have more organic traffic and inquiries about our services. Thanks to them, we’re now looking at other states — not just the Las Vegas area — and people are reaching out, showing our success in those ventures. Overall, our success rate has gone up about 75% in conversions. I’m 100% satisfied with their work; every year, Meros Media exceeds what we thought they’d accomplish.

How did Meros Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done excellent in terms of project management. We meet every month, and we have our event timelines set. Every time we have an event, we define the deliverables, and we’re on the same page through the event follow-up. They’ve met all the event deliverables, except for one case during the COVID-19 pandemic, though we don’t hold that against them. 

We use Asana for project management, where we put tasks, deadlines, and deliverables. As for communication, we use email, text, phone calls, and in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with Meros Media’s ability to identify gaps in marketing strategies. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We improve things all the time. For example, when we first started, we would meet in person. Then, we got Asana involved, and they were very responsive to that. Ultimately, every company can get a little bit better and answer the phone two minutes earlier than before, but with Meros Media, these are all minor things.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Before the first meeting with Meros Media, have clearly defined goals and know how you see your company in 5–10 years. That way, when you sit down with them, you’ll have your ideas and strategy set, and cut down the number of meetings needed.

We began working together in December 2018, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Above all, they’ve done an excellent job on metrics. Our SEO is good on the website, and we’re number 1–2 on the Google search results. Also, they’ve been good at writing blogs and doing landing pages.

We don’t tend to lay down many deadlines. However, we give them the reins on project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their accessibility is outstanding. We have no problems with communication.

I don’t have positive or negative criteria because I don’t know enough about marketing.

Take advantage of the cinematographer; he’s great.

To improve our website, social media presence, and advertising to obtain more referrals from other physicians and attorneys.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at experience, cost, and ability to set milestone goals.

We requested a detailed proposal with a realistic timeline. A multi-pronged approach was proposed where there was a focus on redesigning the website and establishing a marketing presence for referring physicians and attorneys.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I mostly worked with the principal owner Parisa B. . I also had interactions with their website team that worked on content and their main marketer assigned to my clinic. The latter organized meetings with physicians and attorneys as potential referral source.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The website was redesigned with better content and presentation. From the marketing team's efforts we were able to generate new referrals from several new physicians and attorneys

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had great communication with Meros Media. We had regularly scheduled meetings twice a month. We also communicated more often at the beginning of the project to implement the changes to the website. There were also frequent communications while trying to set up appointments with other physician clinics and attorney offices.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Meros Media is very thorough. They have provided us with a list of options to choose from and advice on how to achieve our marketing goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are completely satisfied with their work thus far. We will probably be implementing a few more of their original recommendations.

I’m the CEO of two companies, a healthcare company and a cannabis company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Meros Media handles both of my companies’ marketing needs. Their responsibilities include managing our social media channels and creating marketing collateral such as billboards.

Aside from that, they’re in charge of evaluating our cash flow and its relation to our marketing metrics, which involves addressing any issues with our cash flow that they might encounter in the process. They also do all of the management tasks for all of our delivery sites, both from external and internal platforms.

We work with at least four people from Meros Media on a regular basis.

Meros Media’s owner is a very well-known engineer. I already knew her before we started to work together.

We spend $150,000 per month.

We started working together in July 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Meros Media has been such a big, integral part of our cash flow management efforts. From a marketing perspective, they’ve helped us switch our model from focusing on doctor referrals to focusing on marketing. As a result, almost 80–90% of our business now comes from marketing instead of referrals.

We've also seen a 25% growth per annum in our cannabis company, and I believe that 90% of this success can be attributed to their work.

How did Meros Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Meros Media has performed very well in terms of project management. They attend meetings regularly and deliver everything on time. Every week, they give us a presentation on all of our finances and metrics to keep us updated.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Meros Media’s cost-effective services and analytical skills. They’re also incredibly good at what they do, and they provide accurate and in-depth data to help us make better business decisions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish they could communicate better when it comes to exceeding our marketing budget. They never abuse the budget, but I would like to have a little bit more transparency when it comes to our spending.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the COO of a vertical cannabis company in Las Vegas, NV. Vertical, meaning we have cultivation, production, distribution, and retail facilities. We mostly serve our local community while having a small presence in Reno as well.

For what projects/services did your company hire Meros Media?

We hired Meros Media to handle the marketing for our cultivation, Solaris Farms. At the time we really needed a fresh set of eyes to come in and revitalize our presence online. I think that Meros Media has made incredible strides on our behalf in this area.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Cannabis marketing isn't easy. It's certainly untraditional to say the least. We had done some projects with Meros with our retail initially and knew they would be the right group to take on our needs for marketing our cultivation. Their experience with cannabis and familiarity with us made it an easy decision.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Meros Media has provided many services for us. Some that have made a tremendous impact so far social media management, video production, SEO, and content creation. Our SEO is getting so good that our online presence is getting recognized by cannabis specific analytics providers. They've been able to create content and video that is unique and fun by documenting every step of the process through time-lapse and drone shoots.

What was the team composition?

I've worked with just about everyone from the executive team to graphic designers at Meros Media.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I alluded to it previously, but something that I could point out specifically is that Solaris Farms was recognized as one of Novembers hottest brands in terms of website keywords. We were actually #2. I was very pleased with this as it speaks to the SEO work Meros have been putting in.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. We have dedicated meetings every week. Our meetings are structured with an agenda of static points that we tackle weekly while adding in more dynamic endeavors as they come.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I think the most impressive thing is how quickly they have caught on to the cannabis space, because, as I mentioned previously, it is not easy and certainly not traditional. That's why it was a seamless choice to bring them on for our cultivation needs after working on some retail projects with them. I'd also add that their turnaround combined with quality of work is incredible.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

I wouldn't say that there's a glaring area for improvement, but something we could do differently is find a way to have an in-house approach to working together. Sometimes there could be a disconnect when there isn't an in-house marketing representative bridging the gap on some things as they come up in real-time.

At the beginning of our partnership with Meros Media, we provided them with information about where we were positioned in the market and how we wanted to reach our customers. Meros Media then came back and outlined their capabilities. We received a lot of branding materials from Meros Media, including a logo and the signage, colors, and packaging designs. 

Meros Media team listens to our needs and advises us on the best ways to move forward with our branding and rebranding efforts. They’re helping us determine the best way to approach our customer base — Meros Media advises us on what social media platforms to use and where to put our signage around the city.

I’ve worked with four teammates from Meros Media, including Maggie (Marketing Associate), Parisa (Founder & CEO), Ale (Graphic Designer), and Adam (Social Media).

I saw that Meros Media had done work for doctors in our area, so I reached out to them.

Our engagement with Meros Media began in November 2021, and it’s ongoing.

We track Meros Media’s success through our sales tracking program. Also, the billboards they’ve helped place have been amazing. 

How did Meros Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Typically, we communicate through email on Microsoft Outlook, text messages, or Microsoft Teams meetings. Meros Media is very communicative and reachable at all times. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Meros Media’s team are great listeners — they’ve translated our ideas into full-color designs. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for Meros Media to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Customers can’t go wrong in hiring Meros Media — they’re always on time and ensure they take care of their customers’ needs.
