What challenge were you trying to address with NATEC R&D?
We needed help creating a new billing ecosystem.

What was the scope of their involvement?
NATEC R&D helped us create a new billing ecosystem. It facilitates charging for different services and billing to our subscribers. They also added online charging capabilities and integrated their system with our third-party solutions.
What is the team composition?
We work with 15 people from their team. The customer-facing team was three people.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $500,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2019, and we wrapped up in May 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve successfully launched the migration for our subscribers. They were very quick with the development, usability testing, and acceptance testing phases. We didn’t lose any revenue or subscribers during this migration.
They’re reactive, flexible, and ready to accept a lot of changes in the project. The team was also forward-thinking in their willingness to solve future issues. Overall, it was a great experience. Our turnaround time went from months to weeks.
How did NATEC R&D perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything was quite well organized. In the beginning, we had some issues building efficient communication. We used Jira for tickets and a solution architecture tool.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to adapt to new requirements stands out. They have a flexible system that allows them to make changes in an efficient way. This project felt like trying to shoot a moving target in a lot of ways. NATEC R&D was able to accommodate all of the changes well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The biggest issue for them is scalability. On the one hand, they have a scalable product. On the other, they have limited experience with heavily loaded systems.
They were able to change the technologies that weren’t meeting our capacity requirements. The team was able to resolve all of these capacity issues without any impact on the timeline or budget.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The best advice is to openly discuss challenges. They’re really invested in developing the best solution for you. The more they know about your goals, the more efficient the solution they’ll be able to provide.
