We are an accounting firm. I'm one of the partners.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mediashaker?

We wanted to improve our online presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built a completely new website and helped with our AdWords advertising. They laid everything out and eliminated any confusion about their work. I wanted something simple and visually stimulating that was easy to navigate. They delivered on all my requests.

I communicated with two or three members of their team.

How did you come to work with Mediashaker?

They had good reviews online. We sat down with about three agencies, but we had a good vibe from Mediashaker and decided to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

The website cost between $9,000-$10,000 CAD (approximately $6,800-$7,600 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018, and they completed everything in November or December 2018.

The site generates much more leads, and clients interact well with it. We don't track metrics, but we've definitely seen an increase in our online activity.

They got back to me and responded quickly. The work was limited on my side, and they did a lot to help us. We communicated over the phone, in person, and through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ease of communication and transparency made them stand out. They were easy to reach and easy to speak with, and they answered my questions and alerted me to potential issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We would have liked more feedback and check-ins from them after the project was finished. We appreciated their input, and we would have liked more comments on changes we could make.

Ask a lot of questions. They are always professional and will answer anything without judgment.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We're a full service flooring and design centre located in Edmonton Alberta. We are a family owned and operated company with over 100 dedicated and passionate employees from sales associates to installers who all work together to bring excellence and artistry to our clients in both products and installation.

Our products range from premium hardwood, to vinyl plank, to custom drapes to home staging. We recently opened up a brand new 40,000 sqft showroom/design centre to better serve our clients and offer more selection to those in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Our recently opened sister location in Red Deer, Alberta has allowed us to service the southern areas of the province and bring out quality service and products into more client homes.

My position here is to take care of our social media accounts and assist with the creation and management of any marketing materials needed.

We hired Mediashaker onboard primarily for our website development for both showroom locations as well as our Designabilities design studio website. They also help us to optimize our exposure across multiple platforms through promotions and marketing with digital marketing and SEO optimization.

What were your goals for this project?

For all projects that Mediashaker has helped us with and for those they are actively still helping us with, we are looking to increase our exposure to potential clients and share the products and services that we can offer to others within the industry.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for potential vendors within our area, gathering information from other professionals within our industry and looking for a company that could work WITH us to achieve our goals.

We wanted a vendor that would take matters into their own hands while understanding what our vision is and investing their time and efforts to help us achieve that. Several companies were considered during our search. Our management team was the primary individuals involved in our selection.

The deciding factors that led to our decision were that Mediashaker truly fit the type of company we were looking to work with based on their portfolio, personality, and dedication to the companies they work with. They also have established a great team that works together on accounts to make sure that things get done in a timely and efficient manner.

Mediashaker created multiple webpages for us and continues to service and update them as necessary.

They have developed streamline websites for our business that highlight the products and services that our company has to offer. Our pages host a lot of content with having many products, service, and content that we want to share and the vendor did a great job at creating our vision.

They have continually provided consulting and marketing assistance for our pages and any promotional ads we wish to run on various platforms. We provided the vendor with the information we wished to share and content to compliment it and they did all the rest! They have taken our content to optimize our digital marketing strategy and exposure.

The vendor took much of the work into their own hands with their team of individuals including a project manager, developer, designer, and support individuals.
