Why hire an agency that's balancing a roster of clients when you can work with a senior creative who's *fully dedicated* to your project? (and oftentimes hired by those agencies as a freelancer?) I work with no more than 1-2 clients at a time to make sure you get the attention and pure creative focus that you deserve.
There's also the matter of cost. Agencies have to meet company overhead and mitigate against potential scope creep, so need to pad their project rates, accordingly. I, on the other hand, work on an hourly retainer, exchanging money for value in a 1:1 trade-off - without any hidden bloat.
If an agency is what you're after, there's no shortage of excellent ones here. But if you want someone who really clicks in to feel like an extended member of the team, consider working with me.
Ultimately, when I boil what I do down to its most essential part, what I'm left with is this: I make meaning. Each project I take on is fairly unique, but all of my work focuses on listening to the individuals who make up an organization, helping them get to the core of who they are, then designing thoughtful strategies for them to captivate both new and existing audiences.
Have a feeling like I might be a good fit for your needs? I'd be delighted to hop on a call and learn more about the Naming, Messaging, Brand Strategy, or Communications project you have in mind to see if we're a good fit - no obligation, at all!

Online Review
Meaning Maker developed a creative advertising agency's brand messaging. Alli also wrote a keynote speech for one of the client's executives.
Meaning Maker delivered outputs that were always on point. Alli was strategic and open to feedback. Moreover, the vendor has been happy to explain buzzwords in layman's terms with emotion and authenticity.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I was the SVP of Strategy & Engagement at Something Massive, a creative advertising agency, when we worked with Alli.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Meaning Maker, and what were your goals?
We got to know Alli way back in 2015. On our initial engagement, we hired her for a wide variety of projects across a dedicated 3 month period and pulled her back in, regularly, considering her to be among our most trusted go-to contractors for when we needed help with brand communications. Some of the work she has done for us has been client-facing, some of it consisted of internal agency communications.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
Alli came highly recommended from one of my colleagues who had worked with her previously.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
Our internal work consisted of tightening up our own agency's brand messaging, writing a keynote speech for one of our executives, and helping with some thought leadership content. Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to discuss the client work in this public forum, but we were very happy with the results.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Alli is a one-woman shop. We worked with her directly and it was a breeze. She is very swift, reliable, and a lot of fun to work with.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
As mentioned, I'm unable to discuss the client work that she helped us with here.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
She listens as well as she writes, digesting client goals and internal direction to deliver work that is always on point. Her collaborative spirit, strategic mind, and openness to feedback have made Alli a trusted partner.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They say a picture paints a thousand words. Well, Alli’s words paint pictures. In an industry of marketing speak, buzzwords, and data, Alli has a true talent for bringing emotion and authenticity to both internal and consumer facing communications.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Working with Alli was a complete pleasure. We still pull her in when we need brand communications help, and I've referred her to many colleagues who have had similarly positive results from hiring with her.
