Our clients require us to conduct this seminar. It is supposed to insure that we are respectful of each other and aware of things that might upset people iIt was an hour long and the HR person from McClosky used a horrible antisemitic slur as an example of "microagreession". When I informed her that it wasn't micro at all but highly offensive she said I didn't understand the context and that the person she was talking about who used that expression didn't know it was a slur.
Later both she and Heather claimed they were Jewish. They are not. They are married to Jewish people. They were both incredibly ignorant and offensive .I had at least 20 employees who were upset by the level of ignorance in this "Respect in the Workplace" training. They couldn't believeshe had used this expression.
