What were your goals for this project?

I had a project idea, but the project itself should be developed from scratch. I needed a full development cycle from analysis to uploading applications and the website.

How did you select this vendor?

I looked for mobile development and software companies and was lucky to see an information about Mavinx. This company was using all needed technologies (Objective-C, Java + web technologies), which could deliver my project. It was something I wanted – to have one vendor for all project.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The idea of project was to create 24/7 E-store. After starting with Mavinx, we had first meeting in which we had discussed the overview of all workflow, features and functionalities. Later they shared technical specification with us with all details of the project. Next stage was designing, than development process and QA. All development was divided in smaller parts with demo after each step.

What was the team composition?

The team included 6 persons: Project manager (Artem), designer, 4 developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Mavinx started development from mob apps, IOS and Android were developing in one time. It was finished after 3,5 months. We uploaded them and started promotion. Then we go ahead with website, it took around 2,5 months to finish it successfully. So the project was launched fully!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They were amazing communicators. We communicate almost daily, and they replied always fast, during the day.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The whole team is very talented and PM is very organized. They also have great expertise in web / mobile UX, they helped us adapt our designs to a more native look. The designer was cool, the developers are really great in their professional areas.

Booking in a couple of clicks will release from waiting a free table and will make the fastfood order if you plan to visit restaurants and cafes or bars in Moscow and St. Petersburg. At any time you can return to the card of his armor, to specify the date and time.

I had an idea to create the system for scanning QR codes on packaging with products and provides complete information about the balances of these products in stock with wide range of tools. This is a great tool for managing stocks of the enterprise. As a result I wanted to sell this product.

How did you select this vendor?

I met them at the conference, held several conversations and collected information about the company in web. I got good first impression and started the first steps of cooperation.

Describe the project in detail.

We started with a detailed study of the technical task for the project. I had an understanding of what I wanted to get, but the contractor’s analyst drowned all the details and helped to improve the idea of the project. After all the approvals were done, the contractor divided all the development into small parts (sprints) and we started with the design. The designer suggested 4 or 5 design options. Then we moved on to developing the backend and further on the mobile applications themselves. The work was constantly accompanied by calls, coordination of details and displays of work performed. So we moved throughout the project until its completion.

What was the team composition?

I talked mainly with the project manager, analyst and sales manager. But I know that the team had a designer, several mobile and backend developers. Also, someone of the staff was engaged in testing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is large enough and took a long time. It was completely finished in a year. After that, I started offering it to potential customers. After showing the demo versions, many customers were interested in the product and we tested its effectiveness. As analysis showed - еру product significantly increases the effectiveness of the management of inventory balances within the enterprise.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I would like to note the brilliant work of the whole team. The entire development period was divided into reasonable parts - there was no rush (delays) and we did not lose time in vain. The company staff is very competent and experienced.

Our company hired Mavinx to develop and set up our project of audiobooks. Byblos is a service that helps the user find an audiobook and instantly start listening on all available devices.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals were ambitious: project should be available on all platforms (android, apple, tablets) and incl web version. The project must include payment system for books downloading.

Our partner advised us this vendor as reliable vendor with good reputation.

Describe the project in detail.

During the first contact with MAvinx we explained generally idea of project and our requirements. As we didn’t have any strict documents with list or requirements, so Sales paerson advised us to start from checking and analyzing details. It took around two weeks and as a result we finished it and got exact commercial offer. We agreed it and started cooperation fully: UI/U design, Front-end / back-end development, native apps development.

What was the team composition?

I don’t know the exact team composition of vendor cause we contacted directly only with Business analyst and sales manager. I understand that they have developers but I don’t know number of them. Generally it doesn’t matter for our team. The main thing was to get the result.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched an audiobook store and ios / android apps. Contracts were signed with publishers and a content base - more than 2,000 positions were collected. We reached more than 50 000 users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As I remember it was really good cause I there wasn’t any misunderstanding. Deadlines were in time, communication - the same. We used skype calls, messengers, emails. All feedbacks were provided fully without any delay.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive was their sales manager. They supported us all the time, even after finishing the development. They provided us 3 months of free warranty for all software. Service run well, those our team was glad by the Mavinx.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In my opinion it was good result! Nothing to claim about.

We hired Mavinx to develop for us live broadcasting service for churches.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to develop and launch the project at Appstore and Google PlayMarket. And also to have a website. Through these services we wanted to make broadcasting for people who can’t visit the church and also to make donation in case if user wants.

We looked for vendor at different platforms through the web. We checked many vendors and one of them was Mavinx team. We’ve chosen them because they had high rates, many good feedbacks and we likes communication with them, pricing, portfolio.

Our project included native mobile Apps (apple and android) and website. We fully offered to make everything to Mavinx team starting from design prototypes till uploading apps / launching the website.

  • 1 android developer
  • 1 web developer
  • 1 PM / BA
  • 1 Sales manager (CEO).

I contacted only PM and sales manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The result was successful. Apps were published and website was launched. We had more than 1000 users in 3 month after starting. Also we reached significant amount of donations (I can’t tell the amount).

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was perfect. Communications, scheduling was fast and in time. We set up calls, contacting in advance and always did everything in time or discussed the changes in advance.

They know their job. I got a lot of advice from them. There were no delays and they stayed within budget.

Product was done acc our requirements, when we had anything additional the vendor did it. So they did as we asked. No need anything more from them.
