It’s important to have a clear understanding of the process of development, the tools required, and the people needed to make it work. Work out the specification on your side as much as possible and be clear about what you want to have. Don’t expect them to know what you’re thinking in your head. You need to understand the culture of the vendor.

Our internal client facing application was written by me. As we grew we needed to add in features, enhancements and scalability. Mass has provided overview documentation as to set up our client side for continued growth, providing input on user experience, design ideas and general direction.
