I started by doing an organic search on Google and found them listed at the top on almost any chatbot query. What I liked the most is that they have a chatbot on their website which was very similar to the one we wanted to implement, and I connected with them through the chatbot itself.

They also provide deployment and after-development services as well which is very similar to hiring a full-time employees at a much lower cost.

We are working with them to develop 2 different chatbots for our websites across different entities. They built a lead generation and customer support chatbot that routes the users to their product pages, registers their complaints, and if someone wants to get in touch with a distributor, it takes their details too.

The chatbot has an email integration which helps us receive notifications and lead details in real time.

What was the team composition?

We have one person from their team who is our contact for anything and everything related to the chatbot. They address our concerns regarding updates/changes within the bot with the rest of the core development team

Parallely, the bot would guide visitors on their questions around pricing, offers and more. This was a multilingual chatbot where it could engage customers in Arabic as well as English.

Maruti Techlabs was chosen out of multiple other companies in the bot development space. They’re very professional and they understood what we wanted in our customer’s bot. From the first meeting, we seemed to share a vision for how to apply our ideas and develop the bot for such a huge brand. They gave us an estimate that was significantly less than what we had been looking at elsewhere.

Multilingual chatbot for luxury watch brand on Facebook Messenger. We gave them the conversation flow, and we got the bot ready much sooner than the timeline promised to us. We were really impressed with their quick execution and turnaround time. They also provided prompt support as and when needed.

What was the team composition?

The work was funneled through an account manager who in turn, handled the bot development team which I believe comprised of 3-4 people on this particular project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The bot was a huge success for our client, and they saw a meteoric rise in interactions with their users. The marketing campaign was ROI positive due to the chatbot which helped engage multiple users on the Messenger platform and connect with the brand.

Because of how long I’ve been in this business, I can see pretty quickly when an outsourced team really ‘has it’ or not. Maruti Techlabs ‘has it.’ The ultimate metric, for me, is that they continue to execute and continue to show up when we need them to show up, and that’s what keeps us engaged in a productive relationship with them.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They’re good at project management. Looking at their work ethic, they were very focused, dependent, and goal-oriented. Each task was well executed. If necessary, they provided objective feedback on any problems and challenges that arose. We had a productive working relationship. I don’t know if I’ve ever worked with a group that was truly excellent in that regard.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work is very good. The key thing I look for when it comes to people involved in ourbusiness are people who can take responsibility and ownership over their work. I don’t want to direct people every day, telling them what to do.

We got lucky with Maruti Techlabs because they fit that mold and with our team perfectly. We don’t have to worry about finding another development partner. I could get someone tomorrow from their team that would be of incredibly high quality.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I really don’t have anything negative to say about them. For any future client, my main advice would be to have conversations with the account managers. They have a vast wealth of experience and can work in a variety of different projects.

The entire process has been smooth with Maruti Techlabs and they’ve been really good with communication. We’re really happy with the final product, the chatbot platform, the product’s ease-of-use, and their support. Our lead generation has increased by almost 12% as we are able to engage and showcase our projects to people who come to our website immediately.

They provide a done for you service, so our day to day involvement was highly reduced. Maruti Techlabs built our lead generation bot covering close to 10 properties from our portfolio. It was further integrated with our customer support and sales team tools along with email, in order for us to get instant notifications whenever a lead was generated, along with the full context of what the lead was looking for and what aspects of the property they were interested in. This helped our sales team move directly to the second stage of the discussion and didn’t really have to spend time answering FAQs or educating interested prospects.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our conversions pretty much skyrocketed after the bot implementation. We used to run ads on landing pages, but with the inclusion of a smart lead generation chatbot, we were able to generate more than 160 qualified leads over the course of a weekend. We are now in the process of planning more campaigns, in order to generate more leads.
