The client is a global educational partner to universities from Canada. The organization was in its initial stages of growth, being in existence for the last couple of years only. The client was looking to increase its Social Media Presence across the targeted countries.
Since, the client wanted the cost of marketing to be minimal, we provided them with a detailed plan to organically organically grow the brand presence and increase its organic userbase.
We initially started with campaigns that were more focussed on building a strong social media presence. We leveraged Facebook and Instagram extensively, parallelly creating and curating content that would be of interest to students planning to study in Canada. They took over the social media activities for us and started posting on them on a regular basis. A new website was developed focused on SEO. The keywords for the SEO were worked upon and they modified the website content. Thought leadership content was generated in terms of blogs and posts for the website.

Markivis has been involved in a number of projects and help in their execution from start to finish. For instance, for a bank client. We have initial calls to understand needs of the client, and they come up with information on what campaigns are effective for the client and when we should execute them. Following that I provide them material to work with- logos, branding guidelines and possible copies/content for ads. They come up with a campaign plan that I review and share with the client for their approval. Markivis then takes care of all campaign, supervising results and sharing progress of each campaign with us weekly. They also share a report on results on a monthly basis. They have also helped in traditional marketing through designing of ebooks, pamphlets for advertising in person.
What was the team composition?
I have 3 points of contact- senior management who discusses projects and scope in the beginning and comes in for any instant solutions or advice that maybe required. A campaign manager and main point of contact who takes care of all campaigns of our company and clients. A social media manager for the past year who helps in putting up a calendar of events/and executing in consultation with our team.

Our first corporate client were happy with our campaign and representation work and have extended their contract. Our social media platform which had very few posts and even fewer followers now shows regular engagement (almost on a daily basis) and we have trebled our following on platforms like Instagram.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
There is a smooth communication system in place- we feel free to approach the team several times in a week and they are always responsive. They are quick to get back to you for any needs you may have. If someone is unavailable in a certain capacity, someone else steps into their place to make sure there is no issue.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Markivis' main strength is that they are very dependable. I know that timings and deadlines will always be met. They have a very positive attitude about tackling work even if it needs multiple revisions or is a new, last minute project that requires quicker follow up from their end. Compared to another company that takes of app development for us, I have always found this marketing team to be more on point and professional. They almost seem like they are a part of your own company and that is a huge takeaway for a client.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I think Markivis meets most of our requirements- there are times when I have to edit certain content/ads but I don't think it impacts their quality of work overall.

The concept note was taken to script level and then the video was executed.

This is the best part of Markivis, you never know how many people are working on the backend to ensure that the project gets delivered. But on the face of it, I was working with just one guy and occasionally two more people stepped in.
