Yakkety Yak is a full-service digital marketing agency with an emphasis on content development. I am the founder and CEO, who is responsible for coordinating projects with several different vendors to meet our client goals.

We engaged Mantyweb to manage the development of a recent project with a nonprofit organization. The site was complicated, and we wanted to accelerate development time, so we needed a professional organization to take control.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to create a functional site that could manage a lot of content for a growing organization. Their target audience varied between members and information seekers, so we had to deliver on a variety of levels.

They were referred to us by another agency. We chose them based on their professionalism and ability to work within our timeline. They gave us a lot of confidence going into the project.

They developed the site, transferred the existing content, and created templates to manage certain elements of the code independently. Their backend-administrative approach was extremely useful, as it helped us make quick changes without having to constantly re-engage. This was imperative in our line of work and had an enormous impact on how we operate.

They conducted regular email communication and phone conferences. Their management skills were effective for how we operate.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed by their ability to see the big picture. Rather than providing code that kept us constantly asking for minor tweaks, they developed a fully fleshed-out administrative system to keep serving our clients. This model worked extremely well for us as an agency.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

Perhaps, they could utilize project management software like Trello or Asana, so updates are all in one place.

What were your goals for this project?

We work with the Mantyweb team to implement SEO best practices. Mantyweb helps us with the technical implementation of lead generation efforts, creating forms and landing pages, and embedding the proper code to track the success of our efforts. The firm also maintains many of our client websites.

We have worked with many web and SEO vendors in the past. We found most had difficulty keeping up with the fast pace of an agency. Additionally, many developers had a hard time translating the technical nature of their work into client-friendly language. This has never been the case with Mantyweb. They are reliable, efficient, and great communicators with our team and directly with our clients when necessary.
