BACKGROUND

We are a Consultancy business that offers advisory services to businesses in the public and private sectors, along with education and training.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mantis Digital?

To design and develop our website. Provide options for available templates and insert all content we provided.

What were your goals for this project?

To have an easily navigated website, with aesthetic appeal, and good SEO.

How did you select this vendor?

I had worked with Mantis as a supplier before in a previous organisation so reached out to them again as a provider for this service, as someone who I knew I could trust to get the job done.

Describe the project in detail.

I had engaged a Brand Strategist to work with me, so they also worked with Mantis and provided guidance to ensure my brand guidelines were followed.

The project entailed a multi page website with imagery supplied in high resolution, however some had to purchased as stock images and resized.

The subscription to our e-newsletter was a pop-up that was added at the conclusion of the project to use as part of the EDM's and drive visitation back to the website.

What was the team composition?

I initially spoke to Garth and was later assigned a project manager. And once into maintenance stage, I now have an account manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have only just started my Google Analytics to measure my responses. But I do know that of my 5 largest clients - 4 of them came as Website Enquiries. 42% of people find my website via Google. And I have started to use an EDM to drive visitation.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between our teams was very effective, and they were very responsive. The ease of communication came from having a small enough team to care about the details and be able to action our requirements. We also had a couple of regular meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge and experience was really impressive and helpful when you are wanting to focus on your business and all the compliance issues you already have to deal with.

So having people that already know their stuff, take those issues away from you, made all the difference, and be able to do this in a timely manner was really ideal in an environment where most would assign you a job number and ask you to wait. As a small business and a Consultant - time is money - and that's just not an option.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We can all improve, and do better each time, but the important thing is that we learn. I have learnt so much from my failures, and that's what makes me a good Consultant.

I'm guessing Mantis have had some challenges on their business journey - I didn't experience them, but for them to address all my challenges they had to have experienced them before - and for that I'm grateful.
