Mani Media contacted us after a networking event to offer their services. They said they could would build us a professional website to allow us to expand our online presence, start SEO, leverge digital advertising and marketing. 
They were to make the website easy to update, integtare software to track performance and integrate our POS with our website for online orders and to allow customers access to live inventory. The website was to be a three page site (home, shop, about us) with the ability for customers to sign-up/subscribe.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They did mock-ups to show us the progress and get our feedback.

When the website was launched it was incomplete. There were several spelling mistakes alongside general industry information mistakes (claimed we were a medical dispensary in Ohio when we are a recerational dispensary in Toronto). The subscrition page did not work. The integration was not done (the shop page was blank). The website was to be done in June but wasn't "complete" until July. 
When we tried to get in touch with them to get answers and update we got emails for meetings and no one showed up to the meetings. SEO was never done. There was no software to track performance and the website is not easy to update. I had to fix the spelling and information mistakes myself, which was not easy becasue I had no idea how to use the theme they used (WordPress site). 
I had asked for the cover to bechanged to comething local. They put up a video that slowed down my website - I had to figure out how to remove it along with a bunch of generic pictures that weren't even on my site but were slowing it down in the background. I still have trouble using it an making updates but I am figuring it out myself. 
They did not honor their contract and they did not complete the job. SEO is still not set-up and of the three people on my team (Tom, Tyler, and Steve), no one responds to my emails. I get emails requesting dates and times to set-up a meeting floowed by no confrumation, no meeting link and no phone call. The last was in August, after I had already fixed everything. I have asked for a refund based on my contract becasue to this day they have not completed the contract and NOTHING!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was happy with how they worked with us in the begining. I am very disappointed with how they handled our account when it came time to go live and finalize everything. Sales good, service bad!

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mani Media could have done differently?

Mani Media should have been more responsive when I brought things to their attention. They should respond to emails and attend meetings, especially when they initiate them.

We started working with Mani Media in July 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Mani Media has changed our Google listing details and helped us take down reviews that didn't have to do with our service. Our Google Analytics has improved drastically, and our e-commerce website is now set up. We now average 7–10 online orders daily, which never happened before.

How did Mani Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Mani Media delivers on time and has systems in place to ensure we're constantly updated. The team has handled delays with utmost professionalism and has still managed to deliver on time. We communicate through Zoom calls, emails, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mani Media's communication is great. We've been burned before by other teams, and Mani Media gives us constant weekly updates informing us about the project's status. The team's menu connection and procedure are also very hands-off; Mani Media handles everything from top to bottom. Mani Media has sold us on not worrying about our online presence and focusing on what we need to do.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mani Media?

Our main goal was to significantly increase our volume of online orders and drive revenue growth. To achieve this, we tasked Mani Media with two key initiatives: first, to enhance our Google visibility to capture more local search traffic, and second, to optimize our website's conversion rate, effectively turning those new clicks into completed sales. Critically, all of this work had to be executed on a platform that was fully compliant with the complex regulations of the cannabis industry, which was a non-negotiable foundation for the entire project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mani Media handled the end-to-end design and development of our new dispensary e-commerce website. The scope was comprehensive and followed a clear project plan.

It began with a discovery and strategy phase, where Mani Media's team met with ours to fully understand our brand identity, vision, and business objectives. Following that, they moved into the UI/UX design phase. The main deliverable here was a set of high-fidelity mock-ups of the website, which were presented to us for feedback and revisions.

Once we gave final approval on the aesthetics, the project entered the development phase. Mani Media built the complete front- and backend of the site, integrating all necessary e-commerce and compliance features. The final deliverable was the fully functional, responsive, and market-ready live website.

On the e-commerce side, the most critical feature was the seamless integration of our point-of-sale (POS) system. Mani Media handled this flawlessly, ensuring our online inventory and sales data synced perfectly without any issues. From a compliance standpoint, they demonstrated deep industry knowledge by proactively implementing all necessary features, including a robust age gate, the prominent display of our license numbers, and all required legal disclaimers to meet state regulations.

They promised our small company a new, improved website with a functioning integrated online menu. Not only did it take them like 8 months of a long dreadful slow project, they never completed the online menu integration because they ripped off our current POS Company and Mani Media refused to pay their partner fees.
This resulted in our website being completely non-functional. They refuse to fix our website and refuse to give us a refund after preaching about their "unsatisfied money-back guarantee."

Tyler Collins & Tom McKinsey CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAM ARTISTS. They also attempted to use our private credentials on another client's website, giving their clients our user/password information. They shared our sensitive information.

Very slow. Hardly ever responded to my concerns. Currently blowing us off.
