For what projects/services did your company hire MageMontreal, and what were your goals?
Our website was initially created in Magento 1.0 in 2010 and had never received any software updates leaving us vulnerable to cyber-attacks. During the five years previous, we had to switch to calling customers for payment information instead of allowing them to check out online which turned off a great many buyers.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
MageMontreal came recommended to us by the hosting service JetRails. After speaking with Guillaume about the scope of the project, it was clear they had the expertise in Magento to make our site function better.

The work entailed a few meetings, but as we were simply doing a behind-the-scenes refresh, they were able to get started quickly. Our main goal was to have a site that could once again safely take payments as well as bringing the software up to date for better functionality.

The first Magento update from 2.2 to 2.4 was poorly rated. Anticipation problem with Iweb (server provider at the time). The second bet, on a smaller scale, went better but still with a few hiccups but easier to settle.
