Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a private healthcare company consisting of 3 sister brands: Oryon Imaging - affordable diagnostic imaging; Oryon Develop - CPD events for allied health professionals; and Oryon Connect - our online community and service that enables fast, affordable and efficient healthcare journey to those with muscular-skeletal or neurological complaints.

Large scale project bringing two existing companies together and introducing a new company and brand Oryon Connect. Major strategic shift and rebrand.

What were your goals for this project?

• Bring 2 companies closer together

Describe the project in detail.

I had met with Joe to discuss our vision. At the time we were unsure whether full rebrand is a way forward. Few meetings later we knew the direction - build a 'mother brand' with 3 sister brands, all bound together through the same values and vision.

Joe advised on strategy, approach and the delivery of the project. I have worked with Joe to create the brand architecture followed by the website architecture. UX was a very important element and Joe worked with his team of designers to deliver a beautifully designed and structured site. Joe has also liaised with developers and kept in touch until the closure of the project and even checked in few months post closure.

What was the team composition?

Joe, a designer, team of developers (WP and SF), SEO agency, internal Marketing, Technology and Innovation teams.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The site structure proved successful; we see users feeding off the main brand to other brands. The connection between online community and wordpress works well (this was our major issue and risk). We are starting to build our Connect service. We have not lost business or customers despite the loss of the heritage brand name and domain.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very good project management skills and execution on both sides.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team understands our strategy, and they have creative experience in building UX-driven solutions.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am a consultant and manager at an international NGO that works in the water sanitation and hygiene sector. We focus on providing support to local governments, national governments, and other international organizations supporting rural and urban water supply and sanitation.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lygoe Creative?

We’ve hired Lygoe Creative for several projects ranging from organization rebranding to website design and development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Most recently, we collaborated with Lygoe Creative to develop a website that also serves as a document storage platform for professionals in our sector to share information. We started with a proposal of the scope of work and several workshops to determine our goals and audience. We researched our user profiles and analyzed competing websites. We decided on a design and then began the development process.

What is the team composition?

Joe (Founder, Lygoe Creative) leads our projects and acts as a liaison between his development team and us.

How did you come to work with Lygoe Creative?

I worked with Joe at a previous job in the UK. He coordinated the website development and a rebrand for that company, as well, and I was hoping he could replicate that success here.

How much have you invested with them?

Our most recent project was around €35,000 (approximately $39,400 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The website development project began in late 2017 and ended in late 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Lygoe Creative created a solid website. They had a clear understanding of the process and delivered something well-tailored to the users.

How did Lygoe Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

Joe is very responsive. We communicate well through emails, Skype, and the occasional face-to-face meeting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have great attention to detail and a strong commitment to translating visual designs into functioning products.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing in particular comes to mind.
