I’m the CMO of a lifestyle brand.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Lunar Solar Group?

We initially hired them to help us with our paid social media ads. We later hired them to relaunch our website as a Shopify platform, retained them for CRM emails and organic social posting.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’d had a custom-built site when we first launched, but we had to migrate to a new platform that could take more than one product. That’s where Lunar Solar Group came in. Their main goal was to transfer our existing functionality into Shopify while using the same look, feel, and assets of our old one. 

In regards to paid social, Lunar Solar Group manages our campaigns for Facebook and Instagram. We have an existing library of assets and messages that work in the marketplace. Lunar Solar Group works against that to develop new content while looking for new messages as well. It’s a team effort.

They also help with our CRM email programs for cart abandonment, post-purchase satisfaction, and selling additional products and services. 

What is the team composition?

We work with the entire team. Pierson (Managing Partner) and Keith (Director, Digital Strategy) are our primary contacts.

How did you come to work with Lunar Solar Group?

They were recommended to us by a colleague. She had nothing but great things to say about them. We spoke to a number of other companies, but we fell in love with Lunar Solar Group.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in September 2019 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new site hasn’t launched yet, but our social media campaigns are doing tremendously well. They’ve outperformed anything else we’ve done in that category.

How did Lunar Solar Group perform from a project management standpoint?

We use a project collaboration tool for the ads and social posting. I love it: it’s a simple tool, but it keeps historicals and notes, and we can go in and use it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really feel like Lunar Solar Group is in it with us. It’s really a partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re so good! If they could do more, that’d be great!

Any advice for potential customers?

I don’t have any advice that’s unique to Lunar Solar Group. Just do good old-fashioned relationship building, and make sure you give briefs.
