How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for video production companies in our area using Upwork. After reviewing 5 proposals, we chose this vendor because of their affordable price and personable team.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We started with a discovery meeting. They worked with us to understand our product before helping us create a script and storyboard. In the end, they delivered a 3-minute animated video that showed users how to use our product. They handled the voiceover and gave us a shorter version that we could use for Instagram ads.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manager who outlined the project and kept us on schedule. After each milestone, we would give him feedback, and he'd communicate it to the animators. They shared their work through InVision and Vimeo, which allowed us to comment directly on certain designs or timestamps.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We showed off the new video to investors at tradeshows, and they were able to easily understand our product. We gained 2 investors from the show. The shorter version generated a lot of engagement on Instagram, which helped drive a 30% increase in sales. Viewers liked the animation style and professional look-and-feel

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. If they needed to change something, they told us ahead of time so that we could discuss it. We mostly spoke over video chat and email since their team was remote. We could talk with the animators directly through our InVision and Youtube comments, too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to learn about our product, even though they hadn't worked with a medical company before. They were able to suggest new ideas to improve our vision, which made the final video better.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish we could have met them in person so that we could show them the product. But they still did a good job communicating the key features in the video.
