"Loopmedia produced the most elevated real estate marketing campaign I’ve ever seen."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of a real estate company that specializes in boutique, mid-rise developments.
What challenge were you trying to address with Loopmedia?
We were looking to create an identity for a new project we were launching in a desirable area in Toronto.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Loopmedia was engaged to provide brand identity, produce marketing collateral and create a marketing video for the project. Their team created a visual identity by building a color palette and fonts. Their copywriters created literature for the project as well.
The video was a collaborative effort. We wanted to create excitement around the launch of the development. The video was essentially a love letter to the neighborhood, playing on nostalgia. It's geared toward affluent downsizers, and the footage included people who grew up and worked in the community.
We are currently working with Loopmedia on another venture.
What is the team composition?
There were four to five branding team members and between three to five on the video production team. We had a senior and junior regular point of contact.
How did you come to work with Loopmedia?
Loopmedia was highly recommended, and I was impressed with their portfolio. When we had our initial sit down, it was abundantly clear that our teams were on the same page regarding the tone and messaging for the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with Loopmedia on this project between January and August 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project sold at a record-setting price point and the video was what we wanted to achieve. The work Loopmedia completed won top awards. We received OHBA awards for best project video, best ad campaign, and project of the year.
How did Loopmedia perform from a project management standpoint?
Organizationally, I put Loopmedia up against any legal firm we’ve worked with in the past. Our teams had free-flowing discussions throughout the engagement. Their copywriters did a fabulous job of understanding the identity of the building and aligning our target market with the building’s aesthetic. Their video team is full of skilled editors.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Loopmedia produced the most elevated real estate marketing campaign I’ve ever seen. I think many would agree.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, Loopmedia is an impressive and professional team.

Video Production for a Professional Services Network

Introduce your business and what you do there.
As a management consulting company, we help our clients improve their business practices with practical solutions.
What challenge were you trying to address with Loopmedia?
Our company traditionally focuses on helping clients develop effective marketing strategies, but we wanted to expand our services to include content creation. To avoid shifting our entire business model to offer those services in-house, we explored an alliance with a creative company that specializes in content development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were already in the process of making assets for an upcoming product launch, so Loopmedia was required to produce content quickly. Their team created a promotional video for our client’s marketing campaign.
What is the team composition?
Our main points of contact at Loopmedia are their president and VP.
How did you come to work with Loopmedia?
They were highly recommended to us by a trusted recruiter who’s well-networked in the marketing and advertising industry. We evaluated their creative strategy and creative execution capabilities, and they ranked very high. Compared to the 12 other agencies that we interviewed, Loopmedia was the most risk-averse option.
What is the status of this engagement?
Loopmedia has been working with us since the summer of 2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Loopmedia received a lot of praise for the video’s high quality and quick turnaround. Their work was a great asset to the overall product campaign.
How did Loopmedia perform from a project management standpoint?
They possess a unique framework that allows their team to develop creative content at a rapid pace. Project management is undoubtedly a strong suit for them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It would be difficult to find a creative agency that can match Loopmedia’s rate of production. With extensive resources and a streamlined workflow, they’re able to create phenomenal work without sacrificing the quality or going over the budget.
Are there any areas they could improve?
While they excel at tactical execution, their strategy capabilities are relatively weak. We’re currently exploring ways in which their development of content strategy can be improved to align with our expectations.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s best to have a solid strategy in place before reaching out to Loopmedia; this entails knowing what type of assets are needed for the project and how the content will be utilized.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of community giving and marketing for a non-profit agency that creates solutions for environmental and wildlife challenges.
What challenge were you trying to address with Loopmedia?
We have a campaign during the holiday season that sells wildlife adoption kits. The funds from this campaign help support our mission. We wanted to refresh our campaign and to draw the connection between the product, the wildlife recipients, and our organization.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Loopmedia worked with our internal team and external media purchasing team on the campaign from start to finish. We shared our goals and objectives for the program, and they presented a few different concepts. They then created and project managed video content for both broadcast and social media. We also worked together to produce radio spots, static out-of-home placements, and print catalog ads. The final deliverables were a 60-second video and then various iterations of it to create all our different ads. They came up with content that could easily translate into various formats.
What is the team composition?
We mainly work with our account manager, but we’re able to interact with any team member we need. For example, we’ve had meetings with the creative director and audio editors.
How did you come to work with Loopmedia?
I was familiar with their work from a different project. When we decided we needed a creative refresh, we did an RFP process, and Loopmedia won based on their creative pitch, pricing, and flexibility.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been partners since August 2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We increased our donations for the product line they worked on, and we’ve continued to see an increase, year over year, using their creative concept.
How did Loopmedia perform from a project management standpoint?
We met our tight deadline, and Loopmedia kept us on track. We had so many different iterations of content that often needed to be produced quickly on a short notice, and Loopmedia was always willing to do it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They mastered doing a creative and interesting campaign on a small production budget. Because they’re a smaller shop, they spend time with their clients and listen to what they have to say. They want us to be successful, and they put in the work to make it happen.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, and if I do have any concerns, they’re quick to address and resolve them.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Engage with them as much as possible and be clear about how you're going to measure a successful relationship.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of marketing for MindBeacon Health, a mental health innovation company. We work on BEACON, a digital mental health treatment platform that provides cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with the guidance of a dedicated therapist for people with depression and anxiety.
What challenge were you trying to address with Loopmedia?
We hired Loopmedia to help us engage and excite a younger audience, primarily in the 25–30-year old demographic.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We explained our issue areas to the Loopmedia team and laid out our budget. They came back to us with a proposal for a compelling video in our price range. The segment was one-minute long, and the Loopmedia team produced it in both English and French. Their team helped source French-speaking talent. They created the video with a millennial voiceover to further reach our audience. They included crucial elements about the easy-to-use platform and positive user feedback on the app.
What is the team composition?
I had one point of contact, who served as the producer and helped with client services. Additionally, we worked with a director, and others worked behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Loopmedia?
Following a referral, I reached out to Loopmedia. After our initial meeting, I could sense their excitement about the project. They proposed their concept, and we moved forward with their team.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent under $25,000 CAN (approximately $18,900 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from March–August 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback has been highly positive—many users remark on the uniqueness of the app. The video receives praise for its energy and aptness for strengthening mental health. Loopmedia’s work allowed us to use the video as a communication tool with the younger generations in universities and workplaces.
How did Loopmedia perform from a project management standpoint?
Loopmedia were available and proactive, keeping the project running without fail. There wasn’t a formal project management tool, but their team was dedicated to producing the video and didn’t need to be pushed to do well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Because of our tight budget, we appreciated that the Loopmedia team helped us find affordable, convenient talent for the videos. Finding convincing French-speaking actors at a low cost was impressive. They provided us with high-quality deliverables and were resourceful even with our financial constraints.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m always looking for innovative concepts to reach our target audiences. My only feedback is that there are opportunities for them to be proactive in suggesting additional new ideas.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Being transparent about your goals and limitations enables Loopmedia to do their job more efficiently. They can only solve your problems if you’re upfront about what they are.
The video won multiple awards, and the work has successfully benefitted the real estate project. Loopmedia has a skilled team of editors, designers, and copywriters. Their level of organization is noteworthy, and their collaborative approach has spurred a long-term partnership.
