App store design & copywriting
The client came to us needing an upgrade to their marketing for their app and website. We helped them design beautiful app store designs, app store copy, website copy, and UX recommendations.

Website design, SEO, and PPC marketing
We helped this local business expand and dominate the local market for their business. We rebranded their company, designed their website, optimized their web presence for SEO, and launched and currently manage paid ad campaigns for them.
They've seen an explosion of growth through these internet marketing initiatives. They rank #1 in both local and organic SEO search results for their top 3 keywords. PPC campaigns capture the high end of the market share for their industry and round out their marketing nicely.
We've figured out marketing for service businesses, and want to continue helping others succeed.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the marketing director at The Healthcare Spot. We're a community for healthcare workers to find high quality jobs and resources.
For what projects/services did your company hire Long Weekend, and what were your goals?
We didn't have a website, and we wanted one made that looked good, fit the brand, and where we could post jobs. We also wanted the flexibility to add or remove content easily as we wished.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
A colleague referred them to us, and after talking to them on the phone decided to give them a shot.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had an initial discovery call to learn about each other. They asked a lot of questions about the business and brand. You could tell they were trying to get to know the company. Very thorough. They had us submit some competitor sites we liked, colors, etc.
They took it from there. I believe there was 1 or 2 project review rounds for feedback. The designed it in Figma and developed it in Webflow. We're having them do emails for us now using Mail Chimp.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I communicated with Dan and another guy whose name I forget. He's the main designer/owner of the company. The other guy was the developer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We gained 50,000+ page views within the first 3 months which we thought was fantastic.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We communicated via email, phone, Slack, and they had a shared project board in either Asana or Trello.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were so nice and did great work. It was pretty quick, too. Overall, our team was impressed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
It felt like they had 12 ways of communicating with all the tools. I like to keep things simple. Could have just used email or phone in my opinion.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the owner of a contracting business.
For what projects/services did your company hire Long Weekend, and what were your goals?
We hired Long Weekend to design and develop a new website optimized for SEO. They also created and manage PPC campaigns for us.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We got referred to Long Weekend through a mutual contact. After a look at some of their projects and one conversation, it was obvious that they could handle the job.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They created new branding, designed a new site, created content for the site, optimized everything for SEO, and built out PPC campaigns on Google. They delivered on everything above. They built the site using Webflow, which they still manage for us
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I only worked with the owner, Danny. From my understanding he does most of the design and copywriting, but I believe he has a team of contractors that help with development and some of the other technical aspects of the project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
In the first month, we saw some amazing results. We saw about a 2000% increase in online lead form submissions and a huge return on our ROI - somewhere around 10 to 15%.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They were extremely prompt in their communication with us. We had a couple of phone calls, but primarily communicated through email. They offered Slack and Asana integrations, but I opted to stay in touch via email and phone.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive thing about them is the speed and quality in which they delivered everything. I was blown away with how good it looked and the immediate results we saw. Truly impressed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They honestly could have marketed themselves better. For what they delivered, I was shocked and impressed. Based on their simple marketing materials and casual conversations, I never expected such high quality.
Thanks to Long Weekend, the company was able to gain more than 50,000 page views within the first three months of the launch, much to the client's delight. The team was highly communicative, and internal stakeholders were particularly impressed with the quality of the vendor's results.
