I’m a partner at Chicago Weight Loss & Wellness Clinics.
The Weight Loss & Wellness Clinics offer medically supervised weight loss programs as well as other functional medicine programs for people who are dealing with a variety of different illnesses or symptoms. The other brand within our company encompasses typical physician’s offices.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with LogosCorp?
We were looking to revamp our website. It was an outdated website and we didn’t like the look and feel of it. We wanted to be able to generate more leads with the website, have more content, and more unique text as well as different testimonials. We wanted users to feel this was an established company. We also wanted the website to have chat and online booking.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did our web development and design revamp. Zoho is something we’ve gone live with more recently because of working with LogosCorp. We were using Mindbody before for online booking and other transactions. We’re now fully onboarded with Zoho One.
What is the team composition?
We started out working with mainly Alvaro (CEO). More recently, Alejandro (CTO) has been our lead. We’ve also worked with other team members on specific projects.
How did you come to work with LogosCorp?
We looked at different providers on Clutch. I filtered by pricing, and then by rating. I took the top ten companies and set up an initial telecall with all of them. I told them what we were looking for and narrowed it down. Alvaro did a really good job of letting us know that he could handle our scope of work and offered pricing flexibility.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from May–November 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The part we’re most delighted about is the live chat and online booking functionalities. It’s much smoother and easier for the consumer. The number of leads we get on a monthly basis has increased by about 30%. Our revenue has also gone up, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the online booking, there’s a section where we can do virtual consults using the Zoho platform. We’ve had more virtual consults than in-person consults during the pandemic. We’ve been able to convert those leads well.
I’m happy with the way the website looks. We like the design. It looks a lot better than it did before. As a sales and marketing background person, I look at ROI and I think it was a good investment just from the standpoint that we’re generating more leads and have increased revenue.
How did LogosCorp perform from a project management standpoint?
They were available for communication on a daily basis. When Alejandro took over our project, he gave us not only his phone number and email, but he actually gave me an app where I can communicate with him via chat. I could literally text him daily if needed. We probably had a call early on in the project at a minimum of once a week. It went to every other week after that. A lot of the communication was via email and Zoom calls. We used Google Docs and things like that when it came to content going back and forth.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re extremely easy to work with. If you’re a smaller business and may not have as much of a structure and way of doing things and you find out you have to tweak something, they’re really open to being able to do that. They’re not stringent like other companies I’ve worked with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I haven’t had any issues with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
This team is very flexible. If you only have a general idea of what you want but you need a partner to work with you every step of the way and be flexible to things that may come up, that’s their strength.

They were collaborating with other big companies in the country. We got to know them through their work on one of these companies so we approached them, gave us their proposal, and we decided to work with them.
We worked with another vendor before that developed an online store for us, but it was very basic, it didn’t allow any improvements and we hadn’t had good sales results. We were looking for an alternative and when we found them we decided to start immediately.

They are really well structured and drove us to be more organized as clients. They have a rather stringent follow up of the schedule and requirements. They provided us with a lot of input to make e-commerce work effectively. Whenever we had some delays, they were due to delays on our part. They use Soho as a project management tool.

They're definitely an e-commerce expert. They’re not just web developers, their experience with e-commerce platforms and payment platforms is just outstanding.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They are very formal and organized, but there are some problems that can be resolved more easily outside of formal networks and systems. In these difficult circumstances like the one we're living in, getting the versatility might be a good advantage.
