Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of technology and design at a marketing logistics technology company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Logic Cadence?
We wanted the ability to flex up and down with development staffing as needed.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we first started working with them, we had in-house employees. It was great for our own platform, but as we started picking up more and more client work, we needed to flex our development resources up.
Logic Cadence has a variety of different resources that we’ve been able to dip into. We’ve been able to find the right people at the right time for our client work. They’ve provided resources and consulting for our own inhouse stack.
What is the team composition?
We work with Dan (CEO), Carlos (IT Consultant), José (Full Stack Web Developer), and Bernardo (Full Stack Web Developer) as main resources. All in all, we work with 20-25 resources from their team.
How did you come to work with Logic Cadence?
We had been working with one of their resources in various iterations for 8–9 years. As Logic Cadence got started, we continued to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $2 million–$2.5 million with them in total, but only $250,000–$500,000 of that was spent after they formally became Logic Cadence.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2019, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For our project work, they’re on time and on budget. For the maintenance part, we make sure that our tickets are all resolved in an appropriate amount of time.
How did Logic Cadence perform from a project management standpoint?
Overall, they do a good job. We use standardized project management tools and formalized performance structures. As a group, they do a good job of collaborating on our projects. We have weekly standups to stay on track. They’re transparent, communicative, and always make sure we have the appropriate amount of resources for a given project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re impressed with the level of flexibility we have in working with them, which allows us to go after projects of all sizes. They’re fairly unique in that regard, compared to other providers we’ve worked with in the past.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Like everyone else, they experience churn with a good amount of high-quality people. I’m not sure there’s a lot we can do about that, but it certainly poses a challenge with continuity.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to allow them to bring all of the resources they have to the table. Be transparent with all of your goals from the start, and they’ll do everything in their power to achieve those goals. You’ll definitely get a good product at the end of the day.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Bright Trip. We offer travel courses online to help users experience a place abroad with confidence.
What challenges were you trying to address with Logic Cadence?
We hired them to design our online platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started by whiteboarding ideas and moved all the way through first iterations to a final design that we gave to our developers so they could build the product. They provided their final product in a sketch file. I believe they used Adobe Suite for the actual design work.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two project managers and two designers, one that specialized in web design.
How did you come to work with Logic Cadence?
We used them at my previous employer. They did great work, so I decided to use them for my own company.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent between $25,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2019. We’re still working together to add new features and functionalities.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our customers have provided great feedback. The functionality of the site meets our needs and allows us to deliver our courses seamlessly. We have thousands of site visits each week.
How did Logic Cadence perform from a project management standpoint?
We usually use Slack to communicate with them. They’re very fast and implement our changes quickly. They use InVision to create their prototypes, and we can leave comments and suggestions through there.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They work quickly, and they’re a low-risk option. They’ve been doing this for many years, so they have a lot of experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not really. There’s nothing I can think of that’s a downside.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get ready to move fast so you can keep up.
Logic Cadence’s work has met the mark across the board. The team is efficient, on time, and on budget. Their work allows their client to be flexible in the projects they take on, which has helped immensely. Customers can expect a transparent team that gets the job done.
