ELFI offers services that allow our consumers to buy, (re)develop, and rent mid-market sustainable apartments in the Netherlands.
As the Chief Development Officer, I am responsible for making the company more scalable a.o. via the digitalization of all processes internally and externally for our tenants & partners. Moreover, I am responsible for generating new revenue sources.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Lizard Global? There are two ways of viewing it. In the short term, the collaboration with Lizard Global aims to develop and market an MVP to create a solid foundation of customers or users. But in the long term, we look forward to building a partnership where Lizard Global provides a flexible development layer and technical strategic partner to spar with.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Together, we engaged in building a prototype and an MVP which started with the most essential features. Not only does this save time and effort, but we also make sure that the product is continuously aligned with the needs of the end-user
We started our search through Clutch and we came down to a total of four companies. To see which partners have the best potential to realize our app goals, we issued an RFP, which Lizard Global won ahead of the pack in all key areas.
What is the status of this engagement?
On-going. Pre-launch of MVP of a white-label platform (web, progressive web-app (PWA), and native app)
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They provide an all-round expertise. Ranging from digital strategy/customer journey optimization, UI/UX/User Customer Engagement consultancy, (microservices) architecture, development, and QA. This is needed for the quick development and deployment of our MVP

Lizard Global is transparent, pragmatic, and on the ball in every phase of the collaboration.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We're impressed with their flexibility, speed, and ability to deliver under tight deadlines. They are a very professional group of people and I can see that they are genuinely eager to be involved in helping us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only thing I see where they can improve the partnership is to create shorter proposals (and this is coming from someone who reads War and Peace…). Though I appreciate the comprehensive presentations, I am more interested in getting to know what are the results they came up with.
