Sava is a women-, Latina-, and queer-owned cannabis delivery that services the greater Bay Area. As the Brand & Content Manager, I oversee our brand vision, create content across our email, social media, and blog, and maintain our website.

For what projects/services did your company hire LIVID Digital Strategy Agency, and what were your goals?

Our goals when we hired Livid included:

1. Increase new customer acquisition
2. Increase revenue from organic traffic 3) Increase organic traffic

To meet these goals, this was the strategy:

1. Improve our positioning for relevant SEO keywords
2. Improve our clicks and impressions for pages (ex. product pages, Livid's content, our general pages)

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had just begun working with Livid when I was hired so I was not involved in the selection process.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

First, Livid identified relevant keywords that we had the best chance of increasing our positioning for, such as "cannabis delivery" and "Bay Area dispensary." Then, they began producing 3 content pieces a month using these keywords. Content pieces included both landing pages and blog posts, and topics ranged from product guides, cannabinoids, and more. Content pieces would go through 2-3 rounds of edits, after which I would add them to our site as a blog post or landing page. Livid offers a quarterly check-in where they report on our progress, and answered any questions. Jason also brought his web dev expertise to areas outside the original SEO scope of work, which was very helpful.

We worked with Jason, who led SEO strategy and delivered analytics, and Poppy, who led the content creation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since implementing the SEO efforts, we saw improvements in positioning for many of our targeted keywords, as well as increased clicks and impressions across the board. We also saw an increase in our organic traffic.

We use email to communicate, and both Jason and Poppy have been very timely in their responses. We also meet over Zoom once a quarter to break down the previous month's performance.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They went above and beyond to provide robust, data-driven answers to our questions and approaches issues with thoughtfulness and care. Livid's level of detail in their analysis has always stood out as a strong suit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall they've been very responsive to feedback when areas of improvement are raised. While some of their earlier content pieces required intensive editing on our end before being ready to publish, after we raised this issue to them, we saw an improvement in the grammar/syntax, and adherence to our brand voice. Content pieces now require minimal editing on our end.

They also develop Facebook and Instagram posts, manage our content calendar, and provide us with additional market research.

LIVID has been able to grow our Instagram presence and engagement. Apart from that, we’ve enjoyed our experience working with them thanks to their seamless process.

Creating strategy for branding and drive sales for Karusotju using Instagram as platform, also handle Instagram daily. The goals is make Karusotju message deliver well to more potential customers and set up the image for Karusotju.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The consistent outcomes are increased follower growth rate, improved brand collateral and audience engagement.

The project manager did good job, at first they mapping and make the brand of Karu clear for Karu audiens clear. Then put it into strategy for social media, they did good job to set the early foundation. As the time goes, we do itteration and learn from the experience, the project manager also good on updating the changes, they facilitate it well. Also in term of communication, they can communicate and coordinate well.
