2. The impression I got from the owner, Joseph.

He has been very personable and great to work with. With other agencies I interviewed, I talked with an account rep and felt like just another "prospect".

With LinxHQ, I interviewed with the owner and had quite a few conversations before we even signed up.

We needed a front end developer with strong REACT skills. They were able to provide a very good developer for a very reasonable price.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We're nearing beta release and our developer has done very well keeping getting the project done.

They use many of the same communication technologies that my company uses, making communication easy. Most of the communication is done through Skype and Azure DevOps and it has worked well.

The fact that their schedule is 12-13 hours offset from my time zone is helpful. I can start work in the morning and have a backlog of development to QA.

We have a project manager included with our fee. She is helpful and steps in whenever needed but as a licensed SCRUM Master, I handle most of the project management.

LinxHQ has been accommodating and flexible in working with my process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The developer assigned to my project is knowledgeable and good at his craft even though he's so young. He has been easy to communicate with even though his English is limited. We're very happy with his work.

However, I would say I'm most impressed with the attention they give to their customers. Obviously, their developer is always attentive and ready to answer questions but the others are also great. I can ping our project manager if I need anything.

And the owner of LinxHQ has been very flexible and great to work with. He's usually just a Skype chat away.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It took a little while to for LinxHQ to find a developer for us. But that too was just as much our fault. My software engineer partner was very picky about the developer we brought in. So it worked out.

We found the agency through Upwork. We had multiple quotes for the job but they were the only ones that handled a briefing Skype call professionally and really understood what we wanted.

They designed and developed the backend and front end of our app. The project began with a discovery call which was great. They really understood what we wanted and out their brains together to come up with a great solution. The project began in the form of 5 week sprints. Improvements were made throughout the project and changes from our end which extended the project quite a bit.

There’s about 5-6 people from my understanding. I was dealing with 2 people directly for the whole project. They were always available for a chat.

Project management was very impressive, really well structured. Everything they do they provide a spreadsheet detailing each task and how long it will take to complete

I love their can-do attitude. Some ideas I had I thought maybe they couldn’t do but they always find a way to create anything really.

I don’t think there’s anything. I don’t have much experience getting apps created so so far they are the best I’ve used.

The whole team of project managers and software developers are located in Hanoi. We work with them over the Internet. It serves well as an offshore option.

They are willing to stay with the job to make it work. It could be slow and repeated errors did happen, but the team work to resolve them to the end. Their committed customer service is important to us, as we're looking for a long-term partnership.

They were introduced and recommended by one of the Director. There were other vendors which didn't have experienced for the platform as a service development. This vendor was willing to commit for the challenge with the proof of some portfolios.

We provided the business requirements including wireframes, workflows, mockups and designs. They developed backend, frontend UI/UX for both web and app according to the provided requirements. Once the development done, they will do the testing. We will do QA test and UAT before deploying to production. Once we approve the deployment and plan for the release, vendor will deploy to the production environment and continue maintenance for that release. After that next cycle of the release started over and over again phase by phase.

Project team has about 8-10 people. We have the dedicated project managers as permanent POCs to liaise with different teams and also relay the business needs for the entire development plan.

The project was developed and launched to the customer. We have stopped the development project as it is operational and doing the maintenance according to SLA only.

We are able to directly communicated to the entire team as and when needed although there are the project managers available for the different team.

They have competent and honest leadership. They listen to my needs and design the online capabilities to those needs. Their customer-relation intermediaries keep on top of my feedback to make adjustments to the online instruments.

2. They walked me through the write-up to ensure that they understood my requirements.

5. They began loading the content that we supplied into the programmes.
6. They are testing the programmes and are making the necessary changes to the programmes with the feedback that we give them.

The company owner of LinxHQ and/or his immediate subordinate would interact with me over the progress of the development. I do not know how many others were involved in the programming and design of the online instruments.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We have not launched large-scale commercial use of the projects yet. This was mainly because on our side, we had experienced delays in providing suitable and sufficient content to LinxHQ.

At the same time, we were not able to keep up to the schedule of feedback proposed by LinxHQ. However, users of the instruments have commented that the visual designs of each of the web-pages could be improved in terms of the visual attractiveness.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The good part about the project management was that the liaison person understood English well enough and had enough technical expertise to translate our requirements and feedback into making changes to the design and development.

The weak part about the project management was that there was some untimely turn-over of programmers resulting in some delays and misunderstanding of our requirements.

1. Their ability to grasp our needs was satisfactory.
2. Schedule of the design, programming and testing of the projects was thorough and easy for non-technical people like me to understand.
3. Response to feedback was fairly quick.
