Our website was out of date and needed a massive overhaul and an upgraded user experience.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

It was a complete redesign and redevelopment of the website. We were able to keep much of the content, but we changed the formatting and visual aspects of the site. The website was built with WordPress.

What is the team composition?

There’s Reese (Founder) and one other person that we’re working with.

How did you come to work with LineLogic Digital Agency?

We have a family connection with them, which is how we started working together.

How much have you invested with them?

A lot of it was pro bono work so there wasn’t investment.

We started in September 2019 and finished in December 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website runs a lot smoother. The information on the website and the design were much easier for users to find. The feedback has been positive and all changes have been immediately addressed. The site is also optimized for livestreaming.

The communication was done over email or by chatting. He was in a few of our IT board meetings, which we discussed with them. Communication was quick.

Redi Carpet is the country’s largest multi-family home carpet installation company. As the IT manager, I handle almost all things IT-related such as the IP network systems, vendor management, and the like.

What challenge were you trying to address with LineLogic Digital Agency?

We’ve engaged them for several projects so far, from setting up the IT environment in our new office to creating a website for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

When we first contacted LineLogic, we were moving our corporate team into a new building and needed to purchase and install some equipment from scratch. 

They helped us set up all of the audio-video components, which included putting up projector screens in the meeting rooms and adding a touch screen in our front room for a virtual receptionist. They’ve also assisted with upgrading our WiFi and warehouses.

Now, they’re working on building a new website for us from the ground up to replace our old one.

What is the team composition? 

One of their team members flew down from Minnesota to meet our team and assess the project. He was in charge of account management, project/vendor management, and technical support. During the bulk of the move, he would work with us remotely as needed before flying back down to tie up any loose ends.

How much have you invested with them?

The first project cost about $8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The office move lasted from January–March 2019, but we’re still working with them for the website.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new environment has been working well, which is great considering how we had a limited budget. They really had to make lemonade out of lemons with some of the products that we could afford.

For example, we wanted to have additional security at our facility like locks on our doors. But that would mean that we would need a receptionist to let in guests, which we couldn’t afford. LineLogic suggested a virtual receptionist called Alice that could sense people via motion detectors and then talk to them.

That choice alone has cost us a quarter of what we would’ve spent on hiring a human receptionist.

How did LineLogic Digital Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication was phenomenal. Besides email, we spoke a lot over the phone. The project manager gave me his personal number since I would sometimes have to contact him outside of standard business hours to coordinate with our vendors. All in all, he was incredibly prompt, responsive, and thorough.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s all I can do to keep preaching their praises. They’re personable with amazing customer service. The value is so good that we continue to do business with them in other aspects. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
 
I recommend them to others, that’s for sure. You should also be specific with what you want while giving them the leeway to do what they do best. If they understand what you’re looking for, they can exceed expectations by finding you a solution that’s a better fit than your original idea.

I really interacted with Reese regarding updates or things that weren’t mapping together correctly. I relayed it to Reese and he’d relay it to the team.

They could be more proactive when it comes to everything coding right and being connected. A monthly maintenance fee is minimal, but, especially with our business, we’d like constant updates to make sure the website is continually improving.

Make sure you’re clear about what you want. Make sure that before you launch the site everything is tested.
