I was the former marketing manager at Nustef Baking, a company based in Canada. I reported directly to the CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lil Horse Inc.?
We hired Lil Horse for their social media marketing services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Lil Horse was in charge of our social media accounts, and their responsibilities included content creation on Facebook and Instagram. The content they’d created included animated videos, designs, and copy.
To ensure that the creative assets were aligned with our company strategy and various brands, we conducted weekly meetings with their team. After each campaign, they also worked to provide us with metrics focused on our campaigns.
I also used their services to fix a problem that our previous agency left us with; we couldn’t access our Facebook Manager account, so the Lil Horse team contacted Facebook directly to save the account.

I worked with three people from their team. My main point of contact was Monica (CMO).
How did you come to work with Lil Horse Inc.?
I went to Upwork to search for social media agencies, and that was where I found Lil Horse.
How much have you invested with them?
By the time I left the company, we’d spent around $25,000 CAD (approximately $20,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in February 2021, and they’re still engaged with my former company.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our engagement didn’t start well since Lil Horse needed to acquire more skills in the beginning. However, it was amazing how they considered every feedback we gave them. As a result, we gained some positive results. The video they’d created had a high number of views. Meanwhile, one of our brands’ social media account gained at least 500 more followers. Overall, we were 100% satisfied with their work.
How did Lil Horse Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Lil Horse’s project management was great. They met our timeline and respected our budget. The team was also prompt and responded on time. Their resources used a certain project management tool, but I didn’t use it. I only met with them weekly via video calls, where they shared their updates with me. We also had a shared folder on OneDrive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were proactive and great listeners — they handled criticisms well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any. They ended up great in every aspect of the engagement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Create a tracking file where you can list all mistakes or negative feedback about Lil Horse and share it with them. That way, they won’t repeat them.
