For more than 15 years, our company worked with the biggest brands in the Philippines; helping them achieve successful activations and events. To adapt in the digital age, our company decided to expand its services.

Since we do not have in-house developers, we collaborated with Lightweight Solutions to develop IOS' e-commerce website. By doing this, we're sure that we'll be able to deliver our client's digital needs on time.

Lightweight Solutions has been in the industry for quite sometime. They've worked with top brands and companies in the Philippines. Our team also has a first-hand experience of some of the sites and applications they've developed and they're all working smoothly.

Whenever we talk to them, they make sure that we understand all the technicalities that comes with developing a site.

We had an initial meeting to discuss objectives, deliverables, and timelines. From there, they presented to us possible ways on how the new website theme and details would work. After deicing on the details, we've had meetings every week to see the progress of the site.

They've shown us the updated website theme, fixed reported bugs on the existing IOS eCommerce website, created IOS convention eCommerce shop page, developed website registration to filter and authenticate doctors’ identities, installed and used two catalog extensions, etc. Overall they helped us develop an effective consumer buying journey.

We've worked with an account manager as the point person and a developer. There were times that their managing partner/head would also join meetings and give inputs.

Generally, it was a smooth collaboration. The client would sometimes send comments and additional details we need to add in the website and in no time all of it were applied by the Lightwight Solutions team. The account manager monitors all requests and coordinates with the rest of the team to ensure fast turnover.

• They gave us simple explanations on how things in the site would work.
• They always work within the timeline; sometimes they finish earlier than the deadline.

As a Marketing Graphic Designer in our company, I am the one in charge for illustrations and digital images. We use different typography, composition, color and visual identity design to create these marketing tools and promote a company's business. Aside from the events and marketing campaigns, our company also develops presentations for companies and businesses to market and promote their goods and services to the public.

Our main goal is to develop our branding equity and to promote our services. We also wanted an easier excess to new customers where there was no longer a need do meet a potential customer in person but deliver the necessary information

Our team considered about 3 software development companies to assist us in building this project from the ground up and chose Lightweight Solutions because of their expertise and professionalism. We jumped on several calls at the beginning to know each other better, arranged a personal meeting and felt that this was the right decision from that point forward. They seemed to understand the needs and main goals of their clients.

The first phase was to design a complete visual identity for our company. Since we are in Marketing design, our team and Lightweight Solutions designers collaborated and had a brainstorming for them to create studies for our goals. They presented us with the book of visual identity where we could choose between three different studies that includes the icons, font, etc.. After developing design materials, the Lightweight Solutions team presented us the all the scope, timeline and materials with buyer personas for our business and after my approval, they created a complete UX/UI design for our website. The second phase was to develop a website and landing page so we can collect emails of all interested to our services. In every phase, the Lightweight Solutions team provided quality suggestions where we matched our ideas.

What was the team composition?

They've provided us with project manager who also has Marketing knowledge, UI/UX designers, front-end developers, back-end developers, team lead developer, QA, who worked alongside our team. They provided us a stable point of contact and consistent team from the start until the end. Also, the project manager was able to present and introduced to us the progress of the development from time to time which would let us quickly build and test every idea we have for our project

Our project was developed and launched on our target date. They bring a lot of ideas to the table and propose new ways of doing things..

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We've had no issues and they've stayed within our budget. We use Jira to keep track of our projects and they send us daily reports and we also have daily calls with their updates and progression. They get back to us straight away if we have an issue. Other companies we’ve worked with would send an email promising to get back to us within 24 hours. With Lightweight Solutions, we email them, and the problem is solved.They always provide us better solutions and ideas not only about software development but also about Marketing. Their project managers are very professional and friendly, so it's been a pleasure to work with them.

The attention and effort they put into their work were noticeably better than any other firm we considered. They bring a lot of ideas to the table and propose new ways of doing things, adding even more value to the projects.
