The project management style during shooting the footage was somewhat lax and we found satisfaction in the flexibility it afforded. This approach allowed for creativity and adaptability in addressing unexpected challenges. Although unconventional, it enabled the team to maintain a dynamic workflow and meet project goals effectively. Mike was great at providing timely responses, edits and final deliverables. Any delays in the timeline was due to our resources and their travel and priority conflicts.

We wanted to create 3 videos for executives at our company. Each exec was to be filmed in a single hour time slot, with their final video being edited down to around 2-3 minutes. There were examples and graphics that we had to make this job a little bit easier and more cohesive across what we already had, and what we needed. We needed makeup, set selection and shot framing, production, and editing. The key deliverables were 3 edited video interviews using our in-house graphics and animations.

I’m the president of a full-service custom sign manufacturing company. We produce exterior and interior signs.

We wanted to create a promotional video to showcase who we are as a company and our capabilities. The second purpose was to attract potential employees by our broad range of services and company skills.

What was the scope of their involvement?

LiFi Media Production came to the office and interviewed a lot of the key staff, including management people. They filmed our manufacturing team on the manufacturing floor to showcase all our capabilities and state-of-the-art equipment. Also, they shot our outside crews and installation teams. They provided their own equipment and set up an interview studio in our conference room.

Initially, we gave them our list of ideas. We collaborated with them and went back and forth to pick the best features for the film. As professionals, they made recommendations about the things we wanted that our potential clients wouldn’t understand. The team guided us through the process and handled the video editing and audio mixing.

We worked primarily with Mike (Owner). Additionally, there was another person dealing with the contracting and billing.

We started working with them in May 2022. However, we had scheduling conflicts, so we weren’t able to film until August 2022. The final cut was delivered in November 2022.

We haven’t released the video; we just got the final cut. However, they were clear on what they were doing; we were a 100% satisfied.

It was really simple, aside from our goals we didn’t have to provide much direction. They knew what to film and when to film it. Once the filming was completed it was a matter of days before we had a draft to review. With a couple of tweaks the video was perfect.

We worked with the videographer, he was friendly and engaging. The owner of the company handled all of the administrative work and it was very straightforward.

We have seen a 142% increase in new bidder registration and have been able to provide our sellers a ROA of more than 200% versus pre-COVID returns.

If they couldn’t answer our questions right away they responded letting us know they would be back in touch soon, and they followed up on that promise. Their invoicing was through QuickBooks which was convenient because we use the same system.

The most impressive part of this company is the quality and emotion portrayed through the videos. The creativity is unlike any I’ve ever seen.

Even though our client had numerous edit requests, Mike was able to make them quickly and accurately.

Most creatives struggle communicating clearly and with many aspects of running a business, but Mike is different than most. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and has over 15 years’ experience building and leading teams.
