Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of a mobile app company that helps influencers connect with their wealthiest followers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lexogrine?
I came up with an idea for a mobile app and mocked up screens for it. I needed a trustworthy partner to implement the development of the product and provide technical recommendations since those weren’t my areas of expertise.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Lexogrine has developed the app based on the mock-ups I’ve made, though they’ve done some design work, too. The product is for both iOS and Android platforms. Apart from mobile app development, the team helps us with our website.
What is the team composition?
I work with their CEO and an account manager who oversees the project. I also interface with two developers and two designers. QA specialists also collaborate with us.
How did you come to work with Lexogrine?
I found Lexogrine through Clutch. We talked about the company's vision and what we wanted to accomplish. I shared the files on the exact structure of the app with them, and the team was quite thrilled with the idea — they liked that most of the heavy-lifting was already completed. As a result, the product was straightforward for them to design. From there, we started the engagement.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $80,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the engagement in January 2022, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t have any quantitative success metrics yet since we just launched the product. However, I’ve had a straightforward and professional experience with Lexogrine. I’ve experienced working with teams that clearly don’t care about our projects’ outcomes; they were simply focused on one task at a time. Often, the tasks don’t align with the overall project direction.
By contrast, Lexogrine has a larger vision in mind, and everything they do is clearly working in that direction. This reflects in the quality of their work.
How did Lexogrine perform from a project management standpoint?
Lexogrine’s project management is great. I have open communication with all team members, and there’s never been any breakdown. They also constantly give us updates. In terms of tools, we use Google Chat to communicate and Figma for the designs.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve put together a team designed to build great products. A lot of times, companies put together teams where each person is self-serving — they don’t always have a clear vision together. By contrast, Lexogrine is an incredibly hardworking and dedicated group of individuals that I rarely see at development companies.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Software programs always have bugs; it’s the nature of the game. There are so many interconnected pieces that it’s almost impossible to predict every single possible case. A perfect scenario would have fewer bugs on the product’s first version.
To be fair, as soon as we identify bugs, the Lexogrine team immediately works on them and resolves the problems in a timely manner.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do as much homework as possible if you’re considering working with Lexogrine or moving forward with a project. Although the team is much more helpful than most companies in helping pick a direction, you ultimately have to advise them for your product. You must do as much heavy lifting as possible in the beginning so you can be a servant leader to the developers. Answer all the questions they may have earlier rather than later to decrease your development cost and time. That way, you’ll get to your marker quicker.

HelloGo - Receive offers from your fans
Take your followers from online to offline.
HelloGo is the next step in the influencer economy - sending and receiving offers to Go has never been easier! Thanks to this groundbreaking application you can both build strong bonds with your fans and monetize the followers.
The minimalist design follows the best social media patterns and scalable technology allows fast introduction of new features and functionalities.
TypeScript in many forms.
iOS and Android apps built in React Native, web components - including administration panel - built in React, and backend built in Node.js - once again TypeScript is the core programming language we used to build the whole solution.

GLHF - Gamifying the beverage experience
The truly techy beverage.
Gaming is one of the fastest growing industries and it impacts almost everything nowadays. So wouldn't it be cool if there were truly gaming beverages with all the fun stuff gamers really love?
GLHF is the truly tasteful beer created by gamers for the gamers. It magically merges great taste with top-notch technology to offer a new dimension of entertainment.
Lexogrine has been chosen to build the technical part of the project, creating web and mobile solutions.
One infrastructure - multiple solutions.
As usual we decided to use TypeScript as core programming language - and using React and Node.js to build each part of the web application.
One of the core features is image recognition which is used for dedicated quests as part of the gamification - we successfully integrated Google Vision API to allow quick object identification. This functionality allows a broad spectrum of usage and helps boost the sales of the product - once you will purchase the GLHF beer you will be able to scan the bottle and get additional virtual items.

Clouty
Clouty is a platform that hosts live bets about the latest releases and predictions in music. We did the whole process for building the MVP - helped Clouty.io to pick the right features to build, for the first release of the application, design UI and UX, and implemented the entire platform using technologies like React, MongoDB, Firebase, and Vercel.
We have designed modern and engaging visuals, and we combined patterns from betting and music applications. Music factor in UI design was crucial - It was important to show fin-tech and music factors.

WebBabyShower
WebBabyShower helps everyone join in the fun of a baby shower no matter where they live in the world, and celebrate a pregnancy together.
Our job was to push WBS brand into the new direction, and create mobile user interface and experience which will be both enjoyable, unique and easy to use for people from different backgrounds and age groups.

Dew - an AI mobile platform for beauty
Dew is an AI mobile platform that knows your current beauty products and predicts your next ones. They came to us with ideas and designs - and we helped them to build the application from the bottom up - covering both design and development. We used React Native, Nodejs and AWS to build scalable, hybrid mobile experiences.
Even though Dew had initial designs ready, we've seen a lot of room to improve, UX and visual-wise. We used our design and technical expertise to make a user friendly application that runs seamlessly.

SmartElves
Smartelves is a community app focused on finding the perfect gifts for friends and family. The application has two dimensions - ecommerce and social.
Our task was to build a full branding, visual strategy, art direction and, above all, to analyze the needs of the target group, build user-flow, mockups, clickable prototype and design production designs that were implemented.

SoliPoints
SoliPoints is the reward app that saves the planet while saving money for their users. They came to us, after the initial release of the application, and we were working with their team to improve UX and implement new features.
While re-building or adding the features, transparency was important - we had in mind, that app needed to be reliable, both because of working with foundations, and because of working with buy and sell transactions. Ensuring trust had the second stage to it - Safety. To be sure that our users will feel safe during the usage of the app, we need to be sure that the experience is evoking the feeling of safeness. To keep users informed, we added info popups, to make what we're doing more clear.

Political Policies
Political Policies is an application that helps its users stay up to date with political information, party agendas, and news verification. The key features of the application are starting new threads, promoting news, and viewing threads.
Goals:
- Create a modern and original application with its style that feels reliable at the same time.
- Use well-known UX patterns to optimize usability.
- Prepare solutions that are taking Material Design and iOS human interface into consideration since the application would be for both platforms (React Native development).
Scope and Outcomes:
- UX research documents
- UX wireframe
- UI design - Mobile App Prototype
- Information Architecture - flow map and user stories
- Interaction design

TeleLegal
TeleLegal is a mobile application that aims to help you hire a lawyer in the United States and work with him remotely. The application supports payments, teleconsultations, and chats conversations. Through applications, the client can correspond with his lawyer, ask for advice in a dynamic and fast way, and commission larger tasks.
Goals:
- Create a clean application that allows users to find the right specialist and easily communicate with them.
- Use well-known UX patterns to optimize usability.
- Prepare solutions that are taking material design and iOS human interface into consideration since the application would be for both platforms (React Native development).
Services and Outcomes:
- UX research documents
- UX wireframe
- UI design - Mobile App Prototype
- Information Architecture - flow map and user stories
- Interaction design

Knaller
Knaller Technologies is a startup that wants to disrupt the market of IT SaaS technology. They reached us at the beginning of their journey, and the goal of the project was to create a reliable and easy to use app that helps to determine the status of your server in different places around the world.
In some of the cases, during the in-house brainstorm after seeing the wireframes, we have found some additional problems to solve - we were always focusing on finding the right solutions in bounds of most important goals defined in the previous step. A/B testing for the wireframes was the final part of this step - some of the potential users tested the clickable prototype, and we were analyzing their response, behavior during the usage, and feedback. It helped us to make necessary adjustments before moving to the visual design part.

Frisches
Frisches is an app that allows you to buy food in supermarkets from all over Germany.
The founders of Frisches came to us with an idea and a ready interface made in Material Design for the web. They looked for improvements in UX optimization, increased sales conversion, and market positioning through original visual design.
While working on the project, we have analyzed the goals that the application should have. The subject's specificity meant that the knowledge of eCommerce design and web applications UX had to be combined because the structure was a typical hybrid of these two types of interfaces.
The outcome was a web app that has better usability, more conversion and has its own branded style.

Grocery Samurai
Grocery Samurai helps people to do their grocery shopping as fast, effective, and most importantly - as cheap as it gets. They approached us at the beginning of their journey, asking us to help with both UX and UI of the application. We analyzed e-commerce and grocery-related applications, and asked ourselves, how to make things easier?
Building wireframes, around the core two features, we were thinking about how to enhance them, and make them even more useful. This leads us to build the whole catalog of products, from 4 most popular markets in the US and comparing the prices. It would allow the user to decide what products are most important, and see the comparison.
Having modern and engaging visuals was important for the strategy of the app experience, and marketing. We went for really bright and fresh colors, that would attract the attention, and invoke the associations of fresh fruits or vegetables.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the creative director of a beer brand for gamers. We focus on lifestyle beer and alcoholic products for the gaming community. We’ll use 10% of our revenue to sponsor grassroots gaming tournaments, and our community will choose which. Also, we’re adding a digital layer to the drinking experience by allowing people to reskin their bottles in AR and creating a geolocation game to take over pubs.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lexogrine?
Since we’re a gaming product, the digital aspect is more important than a regular product. We were looking for a web and app development company that understood the gaming space and employed actual gamers. Overall, we needed to create an app that looked good, was intuitive, and had all the modern-day requirements.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Lexogrine has helped us build our app's and website's first versions. A considerable part of the experience around our product is within the app, so they’ve made it more like a computer game. We initially gave them thorough specifications, and they’ve been working in React Native for the app and AWS for hosting. Additionally, there’s a database behind it.
The team has been part of the design process. They’ve contributed with the UX/UI and graphical design elements, as well as with the technical full stack development.
What is the team composition?
We have two project leads: a technical project manager and a regular project manager. We’ve also worked with two designers and a couple of front- and backend developers. Aside from that, we’ve had some senior advisers on the project.
How did you come to work with Lexogrine?
I found them online.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent above 500,000 Swedish krona (approximately $48,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our collaboration in May 2022, and it’s ongoing. We’re close to finishing the first iteration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve shown the app’s finished designs and prototypes to strengthen our case with other partners and potential funders. Moreover, Lexogrine has been proactive; we’ve been able to hand over parts of the project to the team. We know they’ll look into our needs, get them done, or ask questions if they have them.
How did Lexogrine perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very communicative; they respond to feedback and additional ideas. They’ve also done work outside the scope, so they’ve stepped out of their way to deliver things out of their interest for the project.
We communicate through Google Workspace chat rooms and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're interested in modern technology; we appreciate that they keep up to date with the latest libraries and technical developments. We’ve had an easy time discussing blockchain and AI development with them, so they have a broad and modern knowledge base.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could hire a couple of industry-leading seniors. As a growing company, I think that’s in the making.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Outline your specifications and open a dialog with them. Lexogrine is very responsive; they can help you get through the discovery process to see if they’re a good fit for your project.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a project manager and broadcast producer at a tech company specializing in esports.
For what projects/services did your company hire Lexogrine, and what were your goals?
At the start of 2022 we took on a long-term project involving broadcast production. This project requires a standardized set of brand assets be visible continuously in the broadcasts. Our at the time solution was barebones and would technically have sufficed, but in wanting to help the client push the branding to the next level we started looking for more ways we could integrate the client's brand. We therefore tasked Lexogrine with the creation of a custom CS:GO HUD to replace the stock assets with fully brandable ones.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We build all of our own media assets normally, but Lexogrine's expertise and infrastructure in specifically HUDs made them an easy choice.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We provided a feature specification and based on our wishes we were handed a quote detailing time spent by what competency at Lexogrine. We passed the quote on to our client who agreed to the price. Lexogrine then started working on mockups based on previously provided brand assets from us. After several revisions of the design, they started implementation of the designs into code. After giving more feedback on how the functionality operated we then received our full source files in time for the first broadcast with the client.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had a project manager, designer, and developer working with us throughout the process at different stages.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
No directly measurable outcomes.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We communicated over Discord and had recurring updates when development progressed or deliverables had status updates.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their turnaround times were fantastic and they gave us a couple of more revisions than we had originally agreed upon.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We ran into a small bug in our first broadcast but that's equally as much on ourselves for not having fully tested the new revisions before broadcast start.

I'm the Brand Manager of Fragbite - The leading esports media company in the Nordics
For what projects/services did your company hire Lexogrine, and what were your goals?
We reached out to Lexogrine after we received heavy recommendations from people involved in the esport ecosystem. Our goal was to give our product Fragleague, the biggest esports league in the Nordics, a brand lift and improve our look and feel during our live broadcasts.
One of our core necessities was also that the product needed to have a backend solution that we could use across the entire organization that enables us to work seamlessly with our global team members.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We asked around to see what solution similar companies were using and we quickly realized that Lexogrine could offer us the solution we were looking for. After our initial meetings with the Lexogrine team they showed and proved that they were THE team to work with. Their expertise and professionality were on another level.
It was clear from the beginning all the way to the end that they would guide and help us through all the steps in the process and they even challenged our ideas to enable us to reach the best possible outcome together. This was a true partnership in all ways.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had an initial meeting with their team where they explained what they could offer us and how the entire process would look like. We even got shown how the product could look and how the backend would work. We also got informed about all costs related to the project and all potential ways where we could utilize every available function to improve our quality of life while using the product.
After receiving our asset toolbox and brand guidelines they came back with a draft of the entire project which we could provide feedback on. After doing our wanted changes we moved into the development phase and we were informed about the progress all the way.
For us, it was important that Lexogrine understood what our brand should look like and feel like. This was taken into consideration throughout the entire process. When the design and development phase was over we received an onboarding from the Lexogrine team where they explained and showed us all aspects of implementing and using our new product.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We were in direct contact with at least four people from the Lexogrine team. Every single person involved from Lexogrine added their expertise and enabled us to get answers to all our questions directly from their expert. We talked to their CEO, designer, developers and their client success specialist who guided us through the process.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After premiering our new product during our broadcast we have added a lot of production value to our live broadcasts. The look and feel have been upgraded immensely and we are now using a top-of-the-line solution that can be found be used by all the big giants in our ecosystem.
We have received a lot of great feedback from our partners that we are working with during our broadcasts and the backend has saved us a lot of time. We now also have better opportunities to showcase our commercial partners and integrate them into our live broadcasts in a much better and easier way. The scalability this product offers us have already helped us to get additional revenue from our partners.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We were guided throughout the entire process and the Lexogrine team was always available for questions when needed. They offered us multiple ways of communication so we could pick what was best suited for us. This made us feel secure and well taken care of throughout the entire process.
The fact that every single person that added value to the final product was available for direct contact gave us quick answers directly from the experts in a way where we could understand everything.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed me the most was the service level we were given. It's rare to feel this well taken care of. It was obvious that Lexogrine wanted to create the best possible solution customized for us. This was not just a customer-seller relationship, it was obvious that we created this together in a true partnership.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not to my knowledge.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of a virtual event company in the US focused on new mothers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Lexogrine?
We needed to launch a mobile app for our product and went looking for a design forward agency who could translate our vision into a leading B2C mobile product. The experience has been great and we've expanded the scope of their design work across to the customer web app and now sales site.
Eventually they will have designed everything our customer touches.
How did you select this vendor?
We wanted an experienced senior designer above all. I started on Dribbble actually so I could see work before contacting anyone. They were shortlisted from their and then we interviewed.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Our process is in place now. We go through a weekly meeting to scope out new designs via requirement docs with visuals, and review last weeks work. We have found one or two meetings a week is plenty to keep things on track. The communication is great.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We are working with the agency's senior lead designer, Szymon, our project has no development work.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our early qualitative testing shows a fantastic response to the UI/UX that they have created for us. Their is nothing like this on the market and we expect a signifiant positive impact on our customer's experience. Our UAT testing has shown the logical flows of the designs to be clear and transparent.
We very rarely have to go back and edit final designs to clarify UI, the all important thinking about expected patterns is done up front by Szymon. This saves tons of back and forth you might get with a jr designer.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflow is great. We work with many remote vendors, it can be very hard, our communications with Szymon are fantastic. Clear, thoughtful, direct, and enjoyable.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We have confidently moved forward into new features knowing we have designer who can create great customer experiences. One of the best agency experiences we have had bar none.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
nope.

Software Dev & QA for Software Company
“Lexogrine was even able to add features and improve the platform’s speed in a mere week!”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CTO of Reasonal, a web content management tool on our website that is accessed through a browser extension. The tool keeps documents in Google Drive and Google Sync.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lexogrine?
We validated our product through a simple MVP and had a small customer list — we wanted to scale up the product for a larger private beta launch.
The other co-founder and I are Ph.D. technology students, so we have some in-house machine learning experience. However, we lacked experience in frontend development and needed to bring in Lexogrine to help with UI development and QA.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Lexogrine provided us with resources for frontend development and QA efforts. Their team was not used to the Vue.js framework that the platform is built on, but their QA engineer and UI developer got up to speed quickly.
Later, we pivoted to a slightly different platform model and switched to a React framework.
The Lexogrine team also worked on the browser extension, taking a few weeks to improve its speed and add new features. Now, the UI developer is performing product maintenance.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked with two teammates, a QA engineer and a UI developer. We were going to onboard a UX designer, but the two developers we started with were sufficient enough for our project.
How did you come to work with Lexogrine?
We’d worked with multiple companies on this app development, so we reached out to our network at our coworking space in Berlin for UI developer recommendations.
We received numerous recommendations for freelancers and development agencies around Berlin, but Lexogrine offered us the most competitive pricing and best candidates.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested around €60,000 (approximately $68,000 USD) with Lexogrine.
What is the status of this engagement?
The contract with the UI developer is set for April–November 2021 and we worked with the QA engineer from June–August 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We set deadlines based on a launch announcement we made on our website, and Lexogrine was able to make them — we were able to send out launch invitation emails and onboard customers on schedule. We were able to get everything we needed from Lexogrine.
There were some user-reported bugs that Lexogrine fixed that really helped us move forward with the development.
How did Lexogrine perform from a project management standpoint?
My company handled project management, but we involved Lexogrine in our sprint planning meetings. In the end, the CEO and I laid out the features and bugs for Lexogrine to work on during our sprints. We then gave Lexogrine some freedom with the implementation process.
The UI developer collected user feedback to locate bugs and then prioritized them according to their importance. Their team was responsive as we fixed platform issues and added features after our launch.
After that, we gave Lexogrine the freedom to work on tasks in the order they wanted, but we still had daily meetings where they provided us with regular project updates. We also used Jira to track project progress and communicated over email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were impressed that the Lexogrine team could onboard onto a fairly alien system with an arcane architecture that I developed. It was even more impressive because they were experts in React, not Vue.js, and adapted well to the different framework.
We set aside a month for their team to onboard, but they did it in less than a week. Lexogrine was even able to add features and improve the platform’s speed in a mere week!
We’re moving in a different direction with the platform now, but if we return to B2C product development, we’ll reach out to Lexogrine again.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Lexogrine moved slowly during the interview process — we could have onboarded their team as early as April, but their developer was assigned to a different project. However, I’m not sure that issue could’ve been avoided.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
The Lexogrine team has great chemistry, and I’d advise clients to hire them and let them work internally on the project. I haven’t seen the synergy they have anywhere else — they were able to work out different aspects of the project between themselves.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lexogrine, and what were your goals?
We hired Lexogrine to create a Dota 2 API system for us which better showcased the in-game statistics for unique viewer experience
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them while using their CSGO HUD manager and found it impressive overall as there wasn't many companies online that offered what they did. Thus we approached them to create something for Dota 2.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The scope of project included creating a HUD that plugged API from Dota 2 backend systems and portraying it on our broadcast. They met all key deliverable dates and responded to all issues/feedback swiftly.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The main software engineer, their design team and their head of marketing.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Overall we were able to launch the product on the launch of the event with ease. The API showed the stats that we wanted clearly and we were able to make adjustments as we needed on our own backend.

We used discord to communicate throughout and responses were very quick overall. The only downtime was due to our difference in locations.

They were able to execute what we wanted effectively on the first time and knew what they were doing without much guidance from us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a project executive as well as the lead technical director at Zenway Productions, handling everything related to broadcast and production.
For what projects/services did your company hire Lexogrine, and what were your goals?
We were organizing an APAC tournament for the game Counter Strike Global Offensive, and were looking into getting custom User Interfaces for the game itself. That's where we chanced upon Lexogrine, we decided to approach them as we have seen their products done by other companies. Our goal here was to implement features that was not doable by us, and to make it presentable to the online audience.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Lexogrine was the only company out there that was actively doing the projects and customizing all these interfaces for any client. After reviewing all their previous finished products, we decided without any hesitation.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We first gave them a Key Art Visual on how we envision the interface to look like, as well as what should be implemented, such as Match data, Bomb animations, Score, Format etc. We worked closely together and they got back to me asap on every feedback needed to be change. Software was easy to understand and implement into our PCs.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were 2 people that I worked with, Michael, the CEO of Lexogrine as well as Oszten, their lead engineer who handled most of the engineering process.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We received the product in good hands, people had complimented on how the nice the UI looked, bomb animations were clean, there was no fussiness as well. As long as the audience were pleased, we were pleased as well.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Their project management was really good, we only had a 2 week timeline for them to finish the product and they got back to us within the 2 weeks when it was estimated more than that. Communication was direct and clean, as long as I pop a question, they were willing to reply as fast as possible and as detailed as possible.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
One thing impressive is that not many companies can offer such product, and Lexogrine made everything easy for the client to use. All we needed to do was install a program, and drag the file in and you're done. Follow their clear instructions and nothing will go wrong. Communication was direct, feedback was always well received and they were really nice people.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not that I can think of at the moment.
The company is happy with Lexogrine’s work. The team has worked with a larger vision in mind, guiding the project in the right direction. The process has been simple and professional, and their resources have been great at communicating with the client. Overall, they’ve delivered a great product.
