What challenge were you trying to address with Level Nine Media?

JM: We had a rudimentary website and our subscription was expiring. We hired Level Nine Media to improve our e-commerce platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

JM: They redesigned our website, improving search capabilities and making it easier to navigate. Then they worked on updating the keywords on our website to improve our SEO.

What is the team composition?

JM: We worked with one person on Level Nine Media’s team.

How did you come to work with Level Nine Media?

Lori Moore: We needed somebody quickly, so I searched online for web designers. We hired Level Nine Media because they could meet our deadline for a reasonable price.

How much have you invested with them?

JM: We spent $750.

What is the status of this engagement?

JM: We started working together in November 2020 and finished the project in December.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

JM: The SEO they’ve done has been very effective. Before this project, we only had a few orders a week, but now we get a few orders a day.

The site is more visually appealing and is easier to navigate as well. We’ve received excellent feedback.

How did Level Nine Media perform from a project management standpoint?

LM: We initially had a Zoom meeting and emailed back and forth.

JM: It was close, but they met our deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

JM: they understood our brand and what we represented. As a result, it was well-communicated on our website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

JM: They could pay a little more attention to the requests that we send them. If they read our notes a second time before acting, they could avoid additional edits.

JM: Set deadlines for all of your deliverables.

Level Nine Media redid the entire website for my company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

My original website was on WordPress, which had proved to be inadequate for the company’s purposes. Level Nine Media was able to transfer the site from WordPress to Wix and update all of the features to make it useable for providing retail options and information to our customers.

What is the team composition?

The owner worked directly with me on the project.

How did you come to work with Level Nine Media?

I found them and decided to work with them because of the owner’s background in horses because it was important to me that they understand my business.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost so far has been about $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in November 2019, and we are continuing to work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we haven’t yet completed the new site, I don’t have a lot to compare with the old site as of yet, but I am optimistic about the work that has been completed so far.

How did Level Nine Media perform from a project management standpoint?

There have been some delays in transferring all of the files between the websites, but I think overall, they have done a good job of sticking to deadlines for the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have been very responsive throughout our work. The website itself is a huge improvement over how it looked and operated in the previous version.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing I think might help them would be to have more than one person on a team so that one could keep working if the other person was busy.
